Thanks to LegionsOfGotham.org, we have the following page from upcoming book, The Dark Knight Manual, and it sheds some light on what we should expect from Christopher Nolan's take on Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises. It's also interesting to note that the production still of Selina's heels on the right is actually the same image as the one which was used in the poster unearthed by a fan who spotted a QR code on another one-sheet for the film (in case you missed it, check that out by clicking HERE).

@Owlman: i think it's because this catwoman was inspired by Julie Newmar's version. Now, I know you guys don't think it's possible for catwoman to look that way but, hey, it's a legitimate interpretation, as is the newer version that wears a cowl.
The whip is pretty useless when a great number of people are shooting at you at the same time. It might work in the comics but in reality if you shoot someone with a whip that person has NO chance.
Next you'll all be saying you want her to have a cat tail, which would be pretty inconvenient if someone gets ahold of it.

@batfan175 The hell are you talking about? She can deflect bullets with her whip while chocking henchmen with her tail. Then, make a smooth getaway by crawling up a wall with her claws. With a cowl and big ol cartoon titties.

That picture of her just looks so stupid.

If she doesn't look like an assclown the entirety of the film, then why didn't they select a good photo? Why isn't there a picture of her looking badass in her get up?

She looks like a total moron...people are arguing "she cant have whip and ears becuz thats not real durr"...then wtf is she wearing high heels?

The more I see her, the less I want to see this movie.

@Superman33- Well, I think TDKR wont beat the avengers, because like TDK, this upcoming movie is banned in china and that's hurting the box office. But nothing is impossible and TDKR will be the better movie and that's all what counts.

@Owlman Stupid show? I'll be the first to admit the show is campy, dumb and other the top but does that make it bad? Of course not, Batman doesn't have to be a growling psychopath and if we never had the 60s show you might as well have just said goodbye to all the Nolan films, the Burton movies, the animated series and Batman would have been a B-lister like Green Lantern or Martian Manhunter. Other things it contributed was Catwoman's look during the 70s comics and the revivals of then-forgotten characters like Mr. Freeze and Riddler.

Inception, TDK, Memento are all great movies, thus TDKR will naturally be a shit movie...makes sense

People still looking at aesthetics of a character and still think that's all the character about. Do people actually read who the character is or just look at the comic panels. There is more that makes a character than the looks of them.

@Tajin88: lets also not forget the fact that the Avengers was released in 2D, 3D, IMAX, IMAX 3D and had NO competition WHATSOEVER in May. Thye have also been promoting this film for 5 movies and they beat us over the head with how awesome it was going to be and then...it had a pretty average plot but good comedy action. The dialogue was clunky, and I just LOVE how they managed to justify killing an entire species by sending a nuclear missile into space. I wonder what the Japanese reaction was?
The ONLY reason it got released so early was because the makers of the film did not want to compete with Spiderman and TDKR and consequently lose money. It might have been a smart decision but it's not difficult to see why it made so much money...but then again lots of films that were better than the Avengers have NOT made that much money.

@silverdog: from what we've seen she does fight pretty well in those heels. Once again, people disrespect cinema by judging something before they have even seen the WHOLE film.

@neobaggins: Lets say I give someone a whip and I have a gun what do you think the chances are of that person deflecting the bullets before they hit him/her? I'll say it again: it looks cool in the comics but it is unlikely to work in real life. One might try to hit the gun out of my hand but that requires precision and skill with a whip, none of which one acquires working one's whole life as a prostitute, sorry.

@TheBigBoss917 Very simple actually, the more popular something gets, the more people hate it. Several examples: The Twilight franchise: a genuinely bad movie series I had to watch with my girlfriend many times over, many people have never actually seen it and hate it because it is popular. Avatar: Did fantastically at the box office and wasn't that bad, pretty average and the environmental message was full of good intention but conveyed in a very heavy-handed and unsubtle way, people hate it and exaggerate it's flaws to almost cartoonish levels and my final example: The Avengers; a fantastic film but slowly we are starting so see some backlash against it creeping in here and there now it is probably one of the highest grossing superhero movies of all time. Conclusion: People are idiots.

@Tomontherun99 i guess but i cant believe the people on here, you cant deny the fact this will be good no matter what, people really don't present any logical arguments as to why this will be a bad movie.
