"If there is any modern mythology to be found, it's in comics," the actor told Comic Heroes Magazine recently. "I would be lying if I didn't think I was born to play Robin. That would be bad ass."
"My whole life, the only parts I thought I was supposed to play were Robin and the Dauphin from Henry V."
Baruchel also went on to reveal that there's another superhero he has his eye on although he's not quite ready to play him just yet, "If I'm being perfectly honest - and this is the part that obviously I won't be suitable for for another 20 years - my favourite character of all time is Frank Castle, the Punisher. That's the one for me."
"I don't know that I'm ever meant to be him but that's my character. Nic Cage's guys are Superman and Ghost Rider. Those are the two that mean the most to him. For me it's Frank Castle."
