Like most blockbusters that have been shooting over the past few months, The Batman ran into quite a few problems over the course of its production, but we had heard that Warner Bros.' new take on the Dark Knight was set to wrap on schedule this month, and Matt Reeves has now made it official.
The director took to Twitter this morning to announce that Saturday, March 13 marked the #LastDay of filming on the highly-anticipated DC Comics movie.
The behind-the-scenes photo shows a clapperboard and a card... in a bin? Reeves is clearly concerned about Bat-fans keeling over with excitement.
This announcement was expected after photos of some wrap gifts for the crew were shared on social media late last night.
The Batman is set for release on March 4, 2022, and stars Robert Pattinson as The Dark Knight, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as The Riddler, Colin Farrell as The Penguin, Andy Serkis as Alfred, and more.
