It's not only CBM's readers who have been up in arms about Ben Affleck being cast as the Goddamn Batman, as a variety of celebrities, comic creators and Twitter personalities took to the social networking site to share their thoughts on the actor taking on the role of the Caped Crusader in 2015. Personally, I believe that Warner Bros. couldn't have found a better choice (he's come an awful long way since Daredevil), and his performances in the superb Argo and The Town - both of which he also directed - show just how much he's matured as an actor. Affleck's Batman voice would be hilarious. He already tried sounding menacing with Daredevil, and that didn't work.

Christian Bale was Welsh and it didn't get in the way of him playing an American.
Also, Daredevil was 10 years ago. Since then he's directed and starred in movies and won 2 Oscars for it. If you're still hung up about the past, then i feel sorry for you.
Also, Brian Posehn is a shitty writer and an even shittier comedian.

Every other website people are talking shit about this they all hate it.

General audience thought it was a joke and they all said they ruined superman now there going to ruin batman.
I thought it was funny when someone said hopefully superman kills again and this time it would be batman cause this is horrible.

Seriously people hating Affleck now will be kissing his ass when the movie comes out.

Not only is he a great director, but he's proven himself to be a very talented actor as well and I think he'll be great. Look, they didn't just cast him because, he must've really nailed the audition.

I personally feel that a Batman/Superman movie should come after a Man of Steel sequel.

...then again, I am the guy who felt like that the Nolanverse should be incorporated into the DC Cinematic Universe, and that John Blake's character arc as the second Batman would be worth exploring. (Not to mention that I'm trying to right my own sequel to The Dark Knight Rises.)

As the biggest batman fan I will wait until I see the movie first. Everyone went nuts about heath ledger being cast as joker and nailed it. In fact the same was said about Keaton, Bale, Downey, Nortonnneed I go on. I'm not Affleck's biggest fan but I'll give him a chance. Please prove as wrong Ben.

I gonna laugh when everyone here starts jizzing in their pants when the first trailers start dropping.

Then we'll here shit like "EPIC" ad nauseum, when you haters should have believed from the beginning.

Affleck is getting the same scrutiny Michael Keaton, Heath Ledger, and even Ann Hathaway got before they took up their roles.

I'm gonna see this movie 20x just to thank Synder and Affleck for killing Tyler Hoechlin fans' dreams.
