It has been a wild couple of days due to the news that Ben Affleck has been chosen to play Batman in the upcoming sequel to the successful 'Man of steel' movie. While many fanboys, casual viewers and celebrities have condemned this casting choice, a few stars have backed Affleck.

Yesterday, 'Avengers' director Joss Whedon showed his support for the new Batman star. But now, Batman legend, Val Kilmer, who starred in the 1995 film 'Batman Forever' as Bruce Wayne has jumped on the Affleck train! A few hours ago, Kilmer tweeted, "Give Ben a chance!"

However, Val Kilmer wasn't the only Batman legend to show support. Adam West tweeted,
"Remember Ben, with the cape and cowl comes great responsibility (and lots of heat). Bring deodorant. #batman @BenAffleck"

Well, there you have it. I for one can't wait to see what Affleck does with the role. What do you think of their decision to support Affleck?
