WATCHMEN Star Jeffrey Dean Morgan Plays Coy On BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DOJ Role

Is Watchmen star Jeffrey Dean Morgan playing Bruce Wayne's Daddy in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice? Maybe, possibly, most likely... To be honest, God only knows. However, the actor does a terrific job at teasing us, so hit the jump to check it out!

Watchmen star Jeffrey Dean Morgan recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to promote his latest piece of work, however, the actor was suprised when the host showed him a leaked set image from Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice. In the photo, we see a painting of (what we assume) to be Bruce Wayne's deceased father, Thomas. The photo, since it leaked online late last year, has been the topic of discussion with fans for awhile. Morgan, who appeared in Zack Snyder's Watchmen was a fan-favorite for the role of The Dark Knight, and if rumors are to be-believed, he even discussed the title role with the director.

However, according to this (rather) short video, Morgan plays very coy about the photo, leading many to believe he has singlehandedly confirmed his involvement in the project. The actor states, "I think you have to go see the movie to see if that's me." Before continuing, "... That looks a lot like me, man."

Consider it confimed (?). Anyway, what do you guys think of this? Comment below, and let us know!

Gotham City's own vigilante, Batman, travels to Metropolis to take on Superman, fearing what would happen if the latter is kept unchecked. As Batman and Superman confront one another, a new threat arrives to put mankind in greater danger than it has previously known.

Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs.  And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

I really like Morgan. His very minor role in Red Dawn was cool. I'd like to see him in a more... Action-oriented role in the DCCU, but he fits the suave, manly philanthropist that is Thomas Wayne.

The set photos from the Wayne murder scene definitely showed him, a casting decision I'm very pleased with.
