It was recently revealed that this week's Good Morning America would feature a surprise announcement for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. GMA's very own Jesse James Palmer revealed that he would be interviewing both Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck for the event by releasing an image teasing the interview. It was rumored that there would be new footage shown and now it looks like with the interview confirmed, we might get a few new details about Batman v Superman and the DCEU.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters March 25th, 2016.

Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before. Starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, with Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, and Holly Hunter, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is directed by Zack Snyder, written by Chris Terrio from David S. Goyer's screenplay.

Tim Miller said that he's a fan of Zack Snyder and prefers the epic side of superheroes.

An announcement doesn't mean by any way new footage, I still think they will announced both Batman solo movie and MoS sequel.

@CapedBaldy - Oh okay did not know it was official. It's just that they used that logo on the CW Dawn of Justice League Special. So i thought that was what we where calling it now.

@AsapXXX - Maybe "DC Films" is a studio being set up to handle all these DC movies like Marvel Studios. All will be known come March

@CapedBaldy - Yeah i think that might be it, a division inside Warner Bros dedicated to making a great DC cinematic universe. Can't wait if true.

Yupp, the keyword here is "announcement" and it's a shame that it took me an entire day just to grasp the simple possibilities of what this means. lol

The pros:

-BvS will be released earlier than we expected
-Man of Steel 2 (release date)
-Batman Solo Movie (release date)
-Directors will be named for either project
-Justice League official poster

The Cons:

-BvS tickets confirmed to be on sale
-Sweepstakes to enter for BvS premiere

He's got his iconic curl too. I know a few people who complained about it not being there in MoS.
