Is This Our First Look At SUPERMAN VS. BATMAN Concept Art?

Now this is interesting. Artist Jock has posted some preliminary artwork to his Instagram, and when quizzed about what it was for by a fan his reply definitely suggests that it could be for Zack Snyder's Man Of Steel sequel. Oh, and he's sketched Batgirl too..

We know that we'll be getting some artwork from the movie at the Man Of Steel fan event this Saturday, but could this be an early look? Jock hasn't followed up that exchange with any clarifications, but he certainly seems to be hinting that this is something for Snyder's Batman/Superman themed sequel to Man Of Steel. BUT, could it also be for a Warner Bros. animated project perhaps? Lets assume that it is MOS 2 related..does this mean that we can add Batgirl to the rest of the DC characters that are currently being rumored to appear? I wouldn't read to much into this just yet -- I actually expect Jock to take to Twitter an debunk it pretty soon. Of course if he doesn't...who knows?

Well concept drawings are usually a lot more detailed than this, just take a look at the Man of Steel concepts, but maybe it is from a while back.

If so then we're getting Batgirl and Wonder Woman. It would be truly fantastic. Honestly with Bruce having been around for awhile I hope to see a good portion of the Bat family.

i was just kidding ... I don't believe in those Nightwing rumors. Guy skethced Batgirl too ... It's not that big deal. Although Batgirl in JL sounds better than Nightwing.
Wonder Woman cameo ? Maybe.

No it's clearly not official studio art..but any preliminary sketches made to figure out a character's look would be considered "concept art". I'm actually leaning against this being for something else myself..but thought it was worth posting just in case.

This looks like Jim lee's work though..like someone said usually concept art is more detailed than this..this is my opinion..I guess we have to wait and see ha

I think the whole Man of Steel sequel and the Batman vs Superman is a conspiracy and come Comic Con 2014, Zack will come and say "Oh by the way were not making the Batman vs Superman, because it is now a Justice League movie" he drops the mic , lights go out, 2 min trailer, crowd goes apeshit, and we'll finally have the battle of superheroes we fanboys always wanted in 2015.
