Looks Like We'll See BATMAN/SUPERMAN Artwork Debut At The MAN OF STEEL Fan Event

Kevin Smith, who will host the Man Of Steel fan event this Saturday with Zack Snyder, Henry Cavill and Amy Adams, has revealed that along with discussing Man Of Steel's home release, some artwork will be debuting for "a movie that's coming up". Click on for more.

Kevin Smith has (pretty much) confirmed that we'll be seeing some official artwork from Zack Snyder's Man Of Steel sequel on the latest episode of his Hollywood Babble-On podcast.



"They're doing a special on Yahoo that I'm hosting, Zack Snyder is the featured guest, but it's all about Man of Steel. So it's me, Zack Snyder, Amy Adams, Henry Cavill is on video from London or he may even be on set with us, and then there's some Michael Shannon stuff. So it's an hour long, it's free, it's on the internet, but it's just kind of to be like 'Hey, Man of Steel is coming out!' But there's two things, there might be announcements during this show and the one thing I do know is there's artwork going to be on this show that may or may not have something to do with a movie that's coming up."


Smith then confirms that he is indeed alluding to the Batman vs Superman themed sequel. What could it be? Is there any chance we'll get an early glimpse at Snyder and WB's new vision of Batman? We'll find out this Saturday, November 9th, when Warner Bros. and Yahoo! Movies bring this special online fan event to your computer to celebrate the home video release of Man of Steel. It all kicks off at 9:00 a.m. PST/Noon EST, so be sure to tune in.

It is not a MOS2 movie, it looks like WB is going to do team up movies with spinoff movies later.

This is a good way to ramp up the DCU if you ask me.

The fact that this is not a MoS2 film annoys the hell out of me I'm sick of Batman, couldn't we have given him a longer break. I for one hope those rumours of other DC characters popping up in this movie isn't true.

understood , but there's only so much screentime unless it's a lord of the rings flim length wise. don't want all the characters to take away from what clark has learned an his growth from the first flim. hopefully it's just rumors ....................... -_-

Snyder is really good at getting pics up fairly early on into production on his movies. I remember the cast pics from Watchmen were released about a year before the movie itself. The first pic of Cavill as Superman came out in August of 2011. Fingers crossed that it's something good!

Lets assume WW and Nightwing are going to be in the film. I am confident they will get five minutes of screen time to introduce them. Think about it Hawkeye got three minutes and he was established.

I am sure that is how they are going to work it, or who know they could WW in the background just like Black Widow in Ironman 2.

You know why they doing Batman? Because with Supes and Batz on the same movie it will draw more viewers to expose them to the DCU!!!!! Yes they want people now to get familiar quickly with other characters like Nightwing, WW, maybe Cyborg etc.....

What costume would you guys like to see Batman wear in 2015?! Do you want something more moderate to the grey and black costume or do you all want to stick with the all black? I must say that the Arkham Origins costume is too dope, however I already know they won't make an exact replica of it. Perhaps they'll look at the design for inspiration. I know they see al, of the fan-made posters being thrown around with that costume.

@Joe I know but still it's just too early. I don't want to start a flame war but DC keeps on using Batman everywhere like he is their only character while Marvel is doing a film about Guardians of the Galaxy. And I wouldn't be surprised if GotG did better than BvS.

I see where you are coming from, but DC/WB is kicking off their DCU so who is better to lead with than Batman. Who else would you like? Flash, Hawkman, Martian Man Hunter etc..... The masses will be confused with a lot of these characters etc....
