The actress clearly has strong feelings towards Wonder Woman as a character. Read what Lynda has to say on what it takes to give Diana the justice she deserves:

"I'm in her corner, I just hope they write well for her!" I'm very hopeful she embodies the essence of Wonder Woman. It's less about super powers and more about heart and intellect and a sense of right and wrong with a goodness in her."

I can tell she's not a big fan of the New52 Wonder Woman. Which I too don't like. I don't want Wonder Woman being war, war & more war. But sadly I think that's the one that will be shown. Just look at the movie Justice League:war or the other Wonder Woman animated movie. They both don't show Diana the right way. So if that's what we have to go by I will be disappointed.

I've said it once and I will say it again I can almost guarantee you that every actress in Hollywood within their age range auditioned for this role or their agent at leas tried to get them the role, but Gal was the one that got it so that says alot about her. This woman beat out probably some of Hollywoods elite to win the role and I dont think it was for no reason. She is going to be the Wonder Woman we have always wanted.
