Ever since we saw General Zod's dead body in  a bodybag in the San Diego Comic-Con Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer; people have wondered what is Zod's body doing their? Will Lex dissect it? Will he become Doomsday, Bizarro, or just have Zod back? In recent interview, Michael Shannon, who played Zod in Man of Steel has been asked about his role. At his it seemed as though he did shoot scenes for in a mo-cap suit with flippers. Then he claimed he never said that. Now in an interview with ScreenRant, it sounds like he did say that but was joking?

“Flippers? I think that might be a prime example of my scatological humor. People ask me a lot about Batman v Superman and I really don’t have anything to say about it, so sometimes I just make up stuff, which I’m sure Warner Bros. is really happy about.

I run for President (laughs). Uh, no, you know, I think it’s better left unsaid. I mean, when does the movie come out? Yeah, I don’t want to spoil it for anybody. Yeah, no comment.”

So it seems as though trying to make sense of Michael Shannon comments about Batman V Superman is about as hard as figuring out the X-Men movie continuity pre-Days of Future Past. So what are your thoughts on Shannon pulling our legs? Do you find it funny or are you really butthurt about him having fun? Comment below, let me know. Peace and remember....

Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Jesse Eisenberg, Gal Gadot, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter, Scoot McNairy, and Jason Momoa and opens in theaters on March 25, 2016.

Here is a potential spoiler (aka mere speculation):

Bruce Wayne is married to Julie Madison in the movie and they are already parents. They live by a lakehouse and are the "Family" that Bruce supposedly let die in the trailer.

I'm thinking it's Julie Madison, because they just reintroduced her back into regular canon, in the latest Batman Annual. They never really ever do that. Continuity aside there are really only three major love interests that have returnde into Bruce's life: Selina (who has and will always been the on-again-off-again), Talia (who is that epic fvcked up kinda love-interest) and Vicki Vale (who came back to Gotham in the '80s).
But I don't think Julie Madison has been seen in regular continuity since she left to become the movie star, Portia Storme, in the early '40s.
So maybe DC Comics know something we don't know and are reintroducing her to synch up with the movie.

Or maybe it's not Julie Madison.
What if the young red-headed girl in the trailer is actually Bruce Wayne's daughter and her mother is Vicki Vale or even Barbara Gordon?

Just a thought.

Also, has anybody noticed how the music at the end of the first teaser trailer homages the beginning of Batman 1989?

I have no desire to see this guy return in any capacity. Especially not as Doomsday, who should NOT be in this movie. And not as Bizarro either, who happens to be my favorite of the Superman villains. Let Superman be the villain in this film.

I think he may actually be serious. Did anyone watch the visual commentary of Man of Steel. He is completely disconnected from the entire idea of being in this film and in the behind the scenes looks he doest look like he's having any fun at all in the mocap suit so i say he's truly just being weird sarcastic Michael Shannon, the new Nic Cage
