Latino Review has been on a role as of late and their chief scooper revealed on twitter that actor and previous Zack Snyder collaborator (Rorschach in Watchmen) Jackie Earle Haley recently went in to audition for a role in Batman vs Superman but WB passed. The logical assumption given Haley's bald look is that he went in for Lex Luthor but there technically, is no confirmation of that.

Actor Christopher Meloni who played Colonel Nathan Hardy [and whose call sign in Man of Steel was Guardian] spoke to Rolling Stone about the film and the chances of his character returning in Batman vs Superman. Particularly that his character is still alive in the Phantom Zome. Meloni admitted, "There is – if people keep that Twitter feed alive. [Laughs] They've got to keep blogging and it'll take form." He also added that he'd "happily" return if given the opportunity.

Jaimie Alexander made waves on November 1st when news surfaced that the actress had been meeting with WB about playing Wonder Woman in Batman vs Superman. However, Variety reported on November 6th, that her Marvel contract and future Thor films put her out of the running. Indeed, on this interview on November 5th, at the Thor: The Dark World premiere, Alexander is much more subdued in her response to Wonder Woman questions from MTV. Methinks Alexander had her Wonder Woman hopes dashed sometime between the 1st and the 5th.

We've seen a snippet of this Man of Steel blu-ray special feature previously but MTV has an extended cut. It focuses on the physical transformation of the Man of Steel cast under the direction of trainer Mark Twight. You can see the entire special feature and all the rest on the blu-ray which is out today.

Tim Daly (Superman: The Animated Series) and Kevin Conroy (Batman: The Animated Series), two stalwarts of the animated DCCU have made their own, humorous version of Batman vs Superman.

No Rorschach...oh well. The way Jamie dodged around that Wonder Woman question has me very curious.

What I find funny about the whole Jaime Wonder Woman thing is there has been nothing comfirmed that she was in talks to play Wonder Woman, it's all been fan speculation. She had had conversations with WB about something, yes, but it hadn't been anything official to play Wonder Woman, so I think that needs to be changed a bit in the article.

@ BritshMonkey

She is going to be WW, I am sure DC/WB will announce it soon!

Might be a 2nd chance for Brad Dourif to give his creepy take on joker. Walter Goggins would be another excellent choice.

Jason Patric or Leo DiCaprio for Lex.

I don't think Jackie Earle Haley would of made a good Lex. He's seems to short to be the human that stands face to face with Superman. He could play Toyman or Mr. MXyzptl

The actor who played Loki, for... Joker? Hiddleston for Jo... ker?? Hmm... What a totally uninspiring safe choice. Yes, I hope that never happens.

Hiddleston can't be joker because he too iconic as Loki at this point.

Some people here just see an attractive actor/actress and think they'd be perfect

Don't worry though, I hear Taylor Launtner is going to play Nova (the Sam Alexander one!)

FantasticSpidey - 11/12/2013, 3:28 PM
I can agree with that. Just what that sounds like in action hasn't been heard much by me at least. Gina Torres sounds the best as WW to me, but I doubt they would cast her.

From what I have read, Alexander actually said that because she was in the (entertainment) business, she was privy to information that most people aren't and that she knew about some of the details of the Batman/Superman script. That doesn't mean that she read for the part, though.
