New Look At Gal Gadot As 'Wonder Woman' In BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE

A French film magazine has provided an alternate version of Total Film's Batman V Superman cover from a while ago. The Man of Steel (Henry Cavill) and the Dark Knight (Ben Affleck) look the same, but Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) is striking a new pose. Take a look after the jump...

As you can see, this Studio Cine Live cover is very similar to the Total Film one from this past October, but it does give us a pretty cool new look at Gal Gadot as a more battle-ready Wonder Woman. The mag also features new interviews with both Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck, who discuss the takes on DC's iconic heroes they play in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice.

Much of it is variations on quotes we've seen before, but Affleck does offer some interesting new details on the older incarnation of Bruce Wayne/Batman we'll meet in the movie, and what his motivations in targeting Superman are.

"Usually, the films show Batman starting off, or in the prime of his career. Here, you’re dealing with an older version, a guy at the end of his journey. He’ll find meaning in his own life during his conflict with Superman. He really thinks Superman is an existential menace, and he believes destroying him will be his legacy. We also play a bit more with the billionaire playboy side of the character. He lives that life at full tilt. He courts many women, owns many cars, and parties a lot. He does that as a way to fill the void in his soul. Moreover, past incarnations dealt with a straightforward search for justice. This time, Batman’s reasoning is clouded by frustration, bitterness and anger."

There's more from Affleck, and Cavill, at the link below. Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice will be with us March 25, 2016.

Yay?

I mean it's not bad but its the same overall design as the EW and the Empire mag with the Trinity and WW in the middle and Batman and Superman have the same pose. Would like a newer magazine design.

She looks pretty good to me. She looks very fit and attractive. She looks like Wonder Woman. I know some prefer a bustier WW, but it isn't a big deal to me. The color scheme on her outfit looks good and might become more heroic looking in JLA (brighter, with stars).

My favorite choice was Alexandria Daddario. Her blue eyes are stunning and she is also very attractive. No doubt she would have pleased the WW must be busty crowd. Still, I am happy with Gal so far. She is a former soldier and fitness instructor, she should be convincing in fight scenes. The question is can she act?

WB should have just renamed the movie Worlds Finest and all these pics with the three of them would have made more sense.

I still would have preferred a more athletic and taller actress. It would have been nice to see a leading woman with a body type different than most actresses and models.

She looks perfect. Amazing and ready for battle.

Too bad some people think studio wars are more important than substance tho.

@clarkman You make a good point. As i said her action scenes will be believable. I agree what we have seen so far shows she can emote on screen and has presence. That scene with her being knocked back is good acting in an action scene, no question.

I am sure that if the studio or her co-leads had any issue with her acting she would have been given substantial extra coaching. I am not worried.

@ballZ

Bruce Wayne is a Billionaire Playboy in the comics and the movies, this isn't new. Even in Batman Begins (2005), and TDK Trilogy, and way before that, it's part of his secret identity and public persona....

@ballZ

Iron Man doesn't even have a secret identity in the MCU

Batman does, plus read TDKReturns

Also, why are you bringing this up? and why am I responding, ha

I like the cover. Gal looks great.

If I had to pick on some thing, it would be Affleck's quote. To me, it seems strange that Bruce Wayne would use partying and the like as a way to fill a void in his soul, when he is completely faking that lifestyle as a secret identity. Batman is who he is, bringing justice is what helps him fill the void. Bruce Wayne is a sham, a cover up to hide who he really is.
