Russo Brothers Discuss "Game Of Chicken" Between CAPTAIN AMERICA 3 And BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN
The directors of Captain America: The Winter Soldier recently sat down with Cinema Blend to discuss the release date battle between Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice and their upcoming Captain America sequel. Hit the jump to check it out!
Joe and Anthony Russo directed Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and they have already been hired to direct the sequel. Many people were surprised when it was revealed that Captain America 3 and Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice would debut on the same day, and the Russos discussed this in an interview with Cinemablend. Joe Russo said, "We knew when they announced that it was somewhat of a placeholder, that it was a game of chicken to see if Marvel really had a film that was going to land on that date or not."
