Two More JUSTICE LEAGUE Members Confirmed For BATMAN V SUPERMAN
Two more members of the DCEU are confirmed to appear in Batman v Superman besides Aquaman and Wonder Woman. Plus, speculation on who was ultimately cut from the film. Was it Robin?
The Flash (Ezra Miller) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) are confirmed to have cameos in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Their appearance is described as "smaller roles, more cameo-oriented." This confirmation gives us Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash and Cyborg all appearing in the film.
As for who was cut from the film? A strong possibility is that a cameo by Hal Jordan aka Green Lantern was filmed but ultimately left on the cutting room floor. Another possibility is that an actor was cast to don the graffiti-riddled Robin costume in the Batcave but Snyder decided to leave such scenes for a solo Batman film. Other candidates include Nightwing, Jared Leto's Joker, maybe even Comissioner Gordon. Still, that's 6 out of 7 Justice League members appearing on screen in a film that comic book fans originally expected to only see DC's Holy Trinity.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice arrives in US theaters on March 25th. Have you purchased your tickets yet? With an estimated production budget of $250 million, early tracking for the film is giving it a colossal opening weekend of $300-$340 million according to Deadline.
