One of the coolest moments in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice came when we got a brief glimpse of Robin's tattered costume in the Batcave. It was a moment lasting only seconds but one which pointed to this iteration of the Caped Crusader having a long and storied history in the DC Films Universe. Will The Batman explore what happened to the Boy Wonder? That remains to be seen.
Over on Vero, one fan pointed out that Batman v Superman included a broken down old motorbike, something they believed could be a nod to Robin's time fighting alongside the Dark Knight. That's a total stretch, right? Not necessarily because Zack Snyder replied and seemingly confirmed that it belonged to Jason Todd (assuming he is the Robin who ended up being murdered by The Joker).
That's a cool touch by Snyder even if it has been added in hindsight! Unfortunately, the filmmaker is unlikely to return to the DC Films Universe after Justice League, so he won't get the opportunity to add any more Easter Eggs to this world. With any luck, Warner Bros. won't ignore those he did put in, especially if there's any chance they could pay off in a significant way somewhere down the line.
