On Friday night, we learned that actor Chadwick Boseman had died after a four-year battle with cancer. Since then, the tributes have poured in from both his fellow Black Panther stars, countless Hollywood producers, filmmakers, and actors, and even the likes of former President Barack Obama and Joe Biden. Athletes have also paid their respects during recent sporting events.

Boseman's death has sent shockwaves across the entire world, and the hope now is that his legacy will be remembered in some way (there's even a petition to replace the Confederate monument in Anderson with a Chadwick Boseman memorial).

On Sunday night, ABC aired a 20/20 special, Chadwick Boseman: A Tribute for a King, and it kicked off with Marvel Cinematic Universe stars like Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Winston Duke, and more all paying their respects to the actor.

If you live outside the U.S., then chances are you won't have been able to watch that, but one fan has now shared the video online. On Sunday, ABC also aired a commercial-free version of Black Panther, and that led to huge ratings for the network as people clearly wanted to relive the undeniable, incredible impact Boseman had on all our lives thanks to his unforgettable acting career.

There are also reports online that Boseman recorded lines for the animated What If? series coming to Disney+, and if that's the case, it will be there we see his final performance as T'Challa.

Guy for sure earned a lot of respect. fought his illness the whole time he was the Black Panther and continued to do work outside of his MCU work. Obviously tried to make the best of whatever time he had left. Well he obviously left his mark and will be remembered as an icon

This was really great. Not to distract to much from the point but I do have to push back on something said towards the end of that video, he wasn’t “the first black movie superhero to headline his own franchise...” that honor goes to Wesley Snipes for Blade. I really don’t want to take away from his accomplishments or impact bc that’s unquestionable but that line wasn’t entirely accurate

Chadwick Boseman deserved all the respect he gets and yeah get rid of the confederate statue, but should it be replaced with an actor?

Im sure there are many civil rights activists who aren't as well remembered as MLK Jr or Malcolm X

He wore the crown with dignity.

There is the cut scene from endgame, where Tony has just died and each hero one by one slowly take a knee in his honour. It's a scene that always makes me cry.

I take a knee in honour of our King Chadwick Boseman.

The King is dead. All hail the King.

I read somewhere the next Black Panther movie could be a prequel about T'Chaka's reign as king in his prime. It's probably the only route they could take I would personally accept.

Anything else would feel cheap and disrespectful after this man's death. *sighs*

Loved the video. Though I still haven’t rewatched Civil War, Black Panther, Infinity War, or Endgame- think it’s going to be a while before I’m able to.

It kind of reminds me of Heath Ledger in a way. Just in the sense of an iconic portrayal of an iconic comic character and dying too young. Wish we had years more with him.

There have been articles going around that Elizabeth Olsen has deactivated her Instagram account due to "fans" harassing her and leaving hateful comments for her not publicly acknowledging or posting anything regarding Chadwick's passing. That ain't right. Not all grieving has to be done online via social media.
