With Marvel Black Panther Movie news being so scarce these days and with 'The Civil War' finished filming and everything under tight wraps, I was pleased to hear the rumors last week about Marvel writer Joe Robert Cole and 'Creed' director Ryan Coogler both being brought in to handle 'The Black Panther' movie... I said "Great!" This is exciting to have such young talent around Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa. After which I decided to put together my own Black Panther movie cast. After all I did pick Chadwick Boseman when I saw the '42' movie trailer. I caught a bunch of hell over that pick too...but anyway, I'm thinking with so many great characters in the Black Panther storyline and with a potential writer and director in line, I was thinking right actor and right price! With a million ideas running in my mind, I went blank. So instead of forcing a bunch of crap on you guys that you have probably already heard before, I decided to spend some quality television time with the Mrs. and through Netflix started watching a show that we just got down with this month...THE WALKING DEAD!!! Hey don't laugh I know it's YEARS OLD...It's new to us Damn it! Guess what it took me right back to The Black Panther movie. Do you remember like a month after Marvel announced Chadwick Boseman would be their Black Panther, they also admitted who their second choice was and it wasn't John Boyega, probably because he was too young but mostly because of 'Star Wars'. So who was the actor...drum roll please.... Chad L. Coleman A.K.A.. Tyreese from 'The Walking Dead'! Personally I think he would have been a terrible Black Panther because he is too old, and too big and stocky, fine actor though! There are two other characters from 'The Walking Dead' that are made to be in Wakanda! Sonequa Martin-Green B.K.A. Sasha. The talented young actress who shows plenty of emotion and courage would be perfect to play The Black Panther's younger sister, the hot headed Shuri. Add her youthful look and her widows peak this would be the perfect pick!

And Danai Gurira B.K.A. Michonne. This great actress has the physical ability to play The Adored Ones A.K.A. Dora Milaje. The Black Panther's twin bodyguards. With the technology we have today she could play both twins and let's face it after seeing her swing her sword and kicking much ass on 'The Walking Dead' this would be a dope pick!

Marvel has a history of grabbing actors and actresses before they hit super stardom and with 'The Walking Dead' being as big as it is, this would be the perfect time to pick from their talent tree, being that they were already eyeing a character from the show, these two didn't get past me and they won't get past Marvel. Don't be surprised if at least one or both are being looked at for roles because they should. Your main man Gab...you know what to do!
