Black Widow is now playing in theaters and on Disney+ Premiere Access, and while most of the major plot points and reveals have already been covered, the smaller nods and Easter Eggs are only beginning to come to light.
The guys over at ComicBook.com noticed what they assumed to be an interesting shot from the first act which appeared to contain a reference to a certain mutant berserker, but, as it turns out, not every little thing in these movies should be interpreted as an "Easter Egg."
While Natasha (Scarlett Johansson) and Yelena (Florence Pugh) are making their escape from Taskmaster in Budapest, their car is flipped over and winds up crashing down through the subway. As the heroes make a run for the escalator, we get a blink-and-you'll-miss-it glimpse of the name of one of the bars.
As any Wolverine fan worth their salt will no doubt be aware, The Princess Bar was the drinking establishment run by Logan while he was living in Madripoor as Patch. The same boozer actually showed up in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier at one point, so perhaps Wolvie has embraces the Princess' franchise potential?
Actually, it's just the name of a shop in Budapest.
To be fair, Marvel does love a good Easter Egg, and since we're all anxiously awaiting more details on the X-Men's imminent arrival in the MCU, this sort of thing is bound to happen. Did you guys happen to pick up on the name of this sign while watching Black Widow?
