KTLA News is reporting that Game of Thrones actor Joseph Gatt was arrested on Wednesday, April 6, after authorities served a search warrant on his home. It's said that agents from the LAPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force began investigating Gatt after receiving a tip that "he was engaged in sexually explicit communication with the minor victim."

The site notes that Gatt, who has made a name for himself in various genre roles due to his distinct appearance, also had an outstanding felony warrant for a similar crime involving communication with a minor. Now, police are looking for any additional victims the actor may have contacted.

Gatt has had minor roles in a number of high-profile projects including Star Wars: The Old Republic, Thor, The 100, Teen Wolf, and the upcoming Black Adam movie. With the latter set to begin reshoots imminently according to recent reports, don't be surprised if he's replaced as "Squad Leader."

Gatt is innocent until proven guilty, of course, but this sounds pretty damning and it's clear the LAPD is taking the matter seriously. It's been over a week since the actor's arrest, so we're anticipating more details being revealed shortly as it's only now starting to make headlines.

Anyone with information about the case or alleged victims is encouraged to contact Detective Denos Amarantos at 562-624-4027. You can also submit an anonymous tip at lacrimestoppers.org.
