UPDATE: Here is the press release from Disney. There aren't a lot of details as of right now, but this confirms Kevin Feige's recent comments that S.H.I.E.L.D. will continue to play a role in Captain America's universe.

The Walt Disney Studios has announced a release date for Marvel Studios’ sequel to the blockbuster Captain America: The First Avenger on April 4, 2014. Winter Soldier!

As a piece of info, I said that a while ago but some maybe didn't read:

I was watching the Cap DVD with director and creww comments on.

Two things caught my attention: On the scene cap frees bucky they say the experiences they were conducting there would define "what he would become". AND in the scene he falls they say something like "he's not dead. Those who know the comics are aware of what he becomes".

NOICE!

If they release too many movies, or make them all the same, then there is going to be a massive danger of over-saturation. There's also the danger of the MCU collapsing under the weight of it's expanding continuity.
However, I'm hoping that those in charge at Marvel Studios know what they're doing.

Also, this clears up one of Marvel's film for 2014. Hoping the other is either Doctor Strange, Blak Panther, or (fingers crossed)) Ant-Man.

@MrNoFear - "danger of over saturation" - can you explain that? Do you believe marvel should stop making movies while people are watching them?

I'd definitely like to see Winter Soldier. Stan's been contracted for more post-TFA movies right? I don't think they need another WWII movie, flashbacks are fine, but Cap's more interesting in the present day, coming to terms with what it means to be a hero in modern times.

So if they are still planning on releasing movies after 2012 that means the world isn't going to end right?

I hope the avengers 2 comes out 2016. That way they can have more time to have more individual characters movies in 2015 (Black Panther,Dr. Strange,Namor ect.)

Bring on Falcon at the end of the movie to act as his partner for the threequal!
I'm all about Baron Zemo as the villain, even though they will HAVE to update his costume and everybody will B*tch about it.
Red Skull for the villain in 3.

Nothing about Black Banther, besides the look, is remotely "batmanish." If you said that about Moon Knight, then yeah, I might understand.
But Black Panther is a completely different animal than Batman (lame pun intended).

@Fogs The fear is that Disney/Marvel may be over-saturating the market in the same way many companies have done in the past. The demand for CBMs at present is able to consume the current supply of CBMS. However, the market may satisfy their demand more quickly because either a.) superhero movies are no longer an event (become a mundane genre like a Western)or b.) story telling develops too many cliches that hinder an audiences taste for the genre (see Rom-Coms).

A modern example of this would be Activision's constant release of the Guitar Hero series.

I really wouldnt mind seeing a black panther movie. I've always thought he was kinda cool. And it would give the black community a superhero movie to relate and could quit calling hollywood racist
