Is the wait for our first glimpse at what the wall-crawler will look like in his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe almost over? It seems so! Merchoid, a merchandise site in film and pop culture, which is the same site that has provided a lot of promo art and clothing designs for Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, has posted the following description for their Spider-Man: Premium Hoodie, which is part of their merchandise and clothing line for Captain America: Civil War:
 

“Ok, so here’s the deal: we have photos of the Spider-Man hoodie coming very soon. We really, REALLY want to show it to you now, but we’re not allowed to just yet. Make sure you check back on the 15th January for your very first look!”


Thus far, this is the only piece of clothing of the official Captain America: Civil War products without an attached image on the official page (instead, it had a question mark). Will January 15th be the day we've been waiting for ever since he was announced to appear alongside our heroes in conflict? Leave your thoughts and comments below!

The "design" of the hoodie might resemble the "Scarlet Spider" design. I think that's why they can't show it yet.

I'm guessing it's a hoodie with a graphic of Spider-Man on it, not that Spider-Man will be wearing a hoodie as a costume in the movie...

Because it's Spidey he's a boss. It's akin to hearing Bond introduce himself or order a drink. You've seen it before but gahdaman it's so exciting.

Reminds me of being a kid no matter how many times I'd seen certain things I just had to see them again.

Sitting in front of the TV just waiting to hear:
"Form Blazing Sword"
"To the Batmobile"
"Strength of a bear"
"By the Power of Greyskull"

or watching Bill Bixby's eyes turn green.


Anyways I do like what the Russo's said about being grounded. I really love Iron Man and Winter Soldier for that.

I'm really interested in how far they'll go to differentiate this costume from the other outings. The batsuit is pretty open to interpretation but I feel that the Spidey suit, Superman (to an extent) and Black Adam costumes are perfect and don't need to be tampered with.

I know Spidey is not the main reason to go to see CW, but damn, it's Spidey! Yes we got 5 movies of him but not one good since SM 2! And it's not like he's taking someone else's place, he's taking his own. We can't say no to Spidey in the MCU! I have faith in this new Spidey and I hope main audience and fans will let him a chance for his next solo movie.

Really excited to see SPIDEY in the MCU, but is there really that much of a question of what the costume will look like? We've seen 2 or 3 variations since the first Raimi movie, and they all...well, they all look like Spider-Man.
