Whether Chris Evans continues to play Captain America after
Avengers: Endgame or not, it's fair to say that he's had a long list of memorable moments as Steve Rogers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But when it comes to which of them is Evans' favourite, I'm sure many of you will agree with the scene he's singled out.
"I'm partial to that fight scene in the elevator," the actor tells
The Hollywood Reporter.
"That was the first scene we shot in the second Captain America movie. It was my first time working with the Russos; it was the first time where it felt like Cap was kind of on his own."
"In the first Cap movie, you know, you really felt like everyone was holding my hand and the first Avengers movie, I just did my best to not get in the way," he continued. "The second Cap movie is the one that I really kind of felt, I suppose, pressure and that first elevator fight scene came out really great in my opinion."
There's no denying that this was an amazing fight scene in
Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and it's easy enough to see why Evans counts it as his favourite.
The Russo Brothers are widely credited with putting the character on the map with this sequel and it's going to be great seeing what they have planned for him in
Avengers: Endgame - especially as most fans believe that it will be Evans' final appearance as the character.
