Speaking with Collider at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this month, Captain America: The Winter Soldier directors Joe and Anthony Russo discuss the highly anticipated Marvel Studios sequel. They offer an update on the editing process ("we're editing a lot"), and comment on creating Stan "The Man" Lee's cameo as well as approaching the characters and what cameras they used during production. The directing duo also talk about how the movie fits in the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, praising president Kevin Feige and his approach. Finally, the Russos discuss the process of forming post-credits scene for The Winter Soldier (as is common with Marvel films), saying that they're going over ideas and that "there might be something that we want to bump for" when Joss Whedon's final script for The Avengers: Age Of Ultron is turned in. Watch the full video interview below, and stay tuned to CBM for more news on the highly anticipated sequel.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Anthony Mackie, Frank Grillo, Robert Redford, Cobie Smulders and Emily VanCamp. The film is set to hit theaters April 4th, 2014.
