"From a crew standpoint, it's almost everybody," said Captain America 3 co-director Joe Russo (via Comic Book) of which players and elements from The Winter Soldier will return for the 2016 Marvel threequel. "[Composer] Henry Jackman's back, our whole technical crew for the most part is back. We're Italian; we love a big happy family. We love consistency and a lot of people did a great job on the last movie." Also returning is cinematographer Trent Opaloch, as reported months ago. "From a character standpoint, it falls into the category of what you can and can't say working for Marvel. Certainly Captain America will be back. The expectation would be that Bucky will be back and there's certain characters in the Marvel Universe that Cap has a strong connection to but we've also got some tricks up our sleeve for this one an we're hard at work. That's a very crowded summer and there's high expectations so we're all hard at work trying to exceed those expectations and really carve out a big, splashy idea for Captain America 3."

Meanwhile, in a seperate interview with Cinema Blend, Joe Russo implied there are other additional superhero characters besides Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye in Captain America 3. When asked specifically which Avengers he and co-director Anthony Russo would like to include in role similar to Black Widow's in The Winter Soldier, Joe replied, "That’s such a hard question because we’ve kind of already done that." He's basically confirming that the character(s) are already in the screenplay. "Do they have to be under contract with Marvel? Maybe they are at another studio," he added, which seemingly prompted Cinema Blend to ask if Spider-Man, or any other character not owned by Marvel Studios, could show up in Cap 3 for a team-up. "Listen, when I started collecting, The Secret Wars was one of the first books I ever bought, so that’s always been an obsession of mine to see something of that scale done – a crossover," said Joe Russo. "I don’t know if that would ever be possible, with all the different situations at the studios. But I would love to see a lot of characters on screen together." What do you think?
