RUMOR: Captain America: Winter Soldier Headed For Reshoots

With Thor: The Dark World crossing $600 million, Marvel Studios has scheduled reshoots for their next Phase II installment.

The Daily SuperHeros reports that Marvel has scheduled reshoots for the Captain America sequel in December and January. According to him, crews will gather up for two days of reshoots on December 16 and 17, then for approximately two weeks of reshoots in January.

No details were provided on what will be filmed. Most recently, Iron Man 3 went back for reshoots and Thor: The Dark World's reshoots added more Loki into the film's plot. Take this with a pinch of salt until officially announced.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier releases in theaters on April 4, 2014.

Charlie2094- yeah even thought i really enjoyed iron man 3, its strengths outweighed its weaknesses for me, thor i thought was good mainly for the relationship stuff between the royal family of asgard,i had big problems with it and i wasnt as engaged in it as much as i had hoped,but it just good, those two were my least anticipated for phase 2, i know you thought iron man 3 and thor were alright, hopefully cap and guardians are good, everything sounds good right now

the reshoots ususall involve minor tweaks to scenes,or new scenes added,maybe a post credits scene

Re-shoots don't seem to be what they used to be. Before when you heard re-shoots you expected it meant the film was pure crap. But it seems lately studios are using it to make movies better or add something extra. I'm cool with this news.
