Sites all over have been restating the rumor that Star Trek's, Chris Pine, is the frontrunner in playing Captain America. The rumor originated from cinemaspy. Well thankfully GossipCop has spoken to someone close to Chris. Here is what GossipCop said:
A source close to Pine tells Gossip Cop there’s been “no offer at all.”

PLUS a second source, the twitter of Chris Pine's official site operators, have also denied the rumor tweeting the following:
"Is Chris really up for Captain America role? "Pure speculation." - So there you have it guys, he is not attached to the CA role. :)"
MarvelFreshman: Even though this isn't more prominent than the rumor itself, it's still great to hear that someone is knocking the rumor down. What do you think?
