Hey this is Gab aka Captain America superfan, I been waiting for this movie for a very long time, now the movie has begun filming just wanted to share my thoughts with you!Let's start with the cast.I think Marvel has done an awesome job from top to bottom!Chris Evans,Tommy Lee Jones,Hugo Weaving and Samuel L Jackson would rock any screen!! along with the other talented actor's Marvel could have it's biggest movie yet!! If they choose to make Captain America their foremost character once again the decision must be made to go all out or let the first Avenger stand beside their other movies. Here are my concerns starting with Chris Evans, this role could make him a household name this could be his breakout chance. I believe he has the acting chops and the talent to pull off Steve Rogers but he must dye his hair to seperate Cap from his Jhonny Storm look but Marvel must nail the character's true likeness. Second the costume, I love the ultimate's look but I think his ears should show not the wings but his ears, it almost looks like batman. Third the excuse they had for the costume it's too drawn out. Why not just say since the Nazi's have a guy that wears a red skull mask for a symbol of terror in war, the U.S counteracts that by putting a Flag uniform on their hero to symbolize justice and hope. Director Joe Johnston mentioned he had a superfast FORD model car for the movie when Cap's motorcycle will be more exciting for a World War 2 battlefield setting with jumps, bullets flying and german tanks all around, a car might look a little silly. I'm sure Marvel got some big stuff planned out. The fight scenes in this movie should be incredible. Superman or the Hulk can't punch a regular human, they would knock their heads off, that's why their villians must have super strength also, but Cap being a fine tuned soldier this should make for some incredible fist fight scenes. Broken jaws, Broken legs etc. Not a bunch of gadgets or holding bad guys until the cops come. I'm talking "The Transporter" type action. In closing this movie could and should be one of the biggest action flicks of all time. You have Nazi's, guns, superhero's, tanks, Hitler, the whole fate of a free nation on the line. But most of all you have CAPTAIN AMERICA!!!!!!!!

Sounds good, but I'd suggest moving this to the editorial tab, because this isn't a fan fic...

But I most definitely agree. (although I'm "okay-ish" with the whole USO story, though it is a little long and drawn out)

@ gab

good article man!

@ inspace

The Avengers should deal with Cap trying to cope with being thrust into the future. That definately needs to be there, trying to deal with living in a very different world. Thats part of what makes Cap who he is. And he's arguably the most important Avenger, so things should center around him a little more than the others, in my opinion.

They need to cast R. Lee Ermey for the role of Staff Sgt. Duffy. That would be the icing on the cake!
