Yesterday, we have seen the TV Spot for the upcoming movie, Captain America: The First Avenger during the Super Bowl. And as a big fan of Cap himself, I admit that I am satisfied, and it is enough to live up my hype even more.
After watching the 30-seconds TV spot over and over again, then, I recognized something that may be interesting to be brought up.
This image of a giant aircraft we saw in the trailer, heavily resembles the second 'Sleeper' especially from its curvy-shape, despite the differences of color. Even if you look closer to its bottom part, there are some mechanical components that may be a device to attach with other thing.
If you haven't known about the Sleeper(s), well maybe many of you don't, these are a group of mechanical creations of Red Skull, that appeared in
Tales of Suspense issues 72-74; if I remember correctly, back in around 1965 (I'm not that old, I found the comic in my school library). The first Sleeper is a gigantic, mindless humanoid machine. The second is a gigantic, well in details wide and flat aircraft-like machine. While the third is in the form of a gigantic skull, resembling the Red Skull's head himself as the brain of the machines. These three machines will in the end merge into one doom-bringer machine (That's why I brought up the attachment device above), which is the main goal of the Sleepers. There is a fourth Sleeper that appeared long after the first three, but it is a different kind.

Now I'm just thinking, if it really is the Sleeper, can it actually appear in the upcoming movie, and can its role be one of HYDRA's greatest creations in the organization's main goal, say, to conquer the world?
And after seeing the trailer, there is a scene where Cap races on a cycle-the same way he did when he is chasing the second Sleeper in the comics. Well, in the trailer we saw him surrounded by HYDRA troops, but it just can be, right?
So well, is it possible, in your opinion for the Sleeper to appear in the movie? Or is it merely a usual aircraft, or even maybe the plane that brings Cap and Bucky to their apparent death? Comments below, as usual!
