Paramount Pictures & Marvel Studios have unveiled high quality copies of promotional images for the much-anticipated Captain America: The First Avenger film, that Entertainment Weekly brightly exposed a few days ago. While many other sites have their logos on these toned "desktop worthy" images, you can check them out logo-less courtesy of my buddy RealIronMan from SpiderMedia.

The chamber is odd to me, isn't the super soldier serum just a huge ass needle injection...I mean wasn't Blonksy's serum the same thing or a variant of it. I want to see what that will look like. Hopefully not like the 90s version or god forbid the Reb Brown version. Also will Zola be head in chest in near the end or do you think that he is already and thats just a decoy head...OMG THE ANTICIPATION

yeah the vita rays seem to be the missing element that others were missing trying to recreate it. I mean Blonksy just got the needle (if it was correct)and I guess the doc hand all the original plans in his head before he got killed. Hoping zola gets his new body! I mean theres concept of in the game. Cant wait for the trailer!

in the pic where Cap has the shield on his back, you can see JJ Field in the bottom right corner, looking more like a Howling Commando than an Invader.

Does anyone notice that Steve Rogers is the rank of a CAPTAIN?? Does Steve Rogers ever get promoted to Captain in the 616 comics???

I'm paranoid because about this because I know that Steve Rogers was a Captain during World War II in the ULTIMATE comics, and I hope to God the movie doesn't follow that universe.

I'm betting the photo of him in the bomber jacket and the helmet/goggles is the first time he meats Peggy Carter. I could be wrong, though. Why isn't Abraham Erskine (Tucci) in the Rebirth lab photo? He's mentioned in the E.W. article.

Nice, now you can see the Hydra symbol on the steering mechanism on the submersible. The Entertainment Weekly article didn't show Arnim Zola. Nice update.

Not saying that Evans doesn't tear it up in the gym, but his arms got just a little too big too quick... i remember him saying he had to bulk up from the Losers when he accepted the role, which was in June, right? Maybe he's going method. I mean, the Super Soldier Serum is basically just Steroids. Mickey Rourke did it for the Wrestler. Hell, wrestlers do it for wrestling! Just saying... ;p

HawHaw: I'm impressed, I haven't got the slightest idea how you picked him out of that photo. Even at higher resolution. In retrospect, I have to admit the guy stands out compared to the others.
