Why do all the movie toys look like crap lol???

Think Star Wars.

Still them MARVEL LEGENDS look awesome!

Very sweet find @ buddy!

Thanks guys. :) These are all pretty good I think. I'd happily buy a Captain America helmet and shield as well as a Thor helmet and hammer! They look too small for adult use though, lol!

LEE: Haha, I don't want to talk about it! :P I guess it makes more sense than them being brothers though...either way, Fox are [frick]ing up continuity and making a mess with the source material. Judging from what I saw in the trailer, it might be a decent enough movie. Only time will tell whether my anger over all these changes will allow me to actually enjoy it when it's released!

wonder if someone will come out with a full-size CA shield, not a toy but prop size, for us serious collectors?

@Tea, one size fits all? ;) if you don't mind I'd like to invite Leeeeeeeeeeeeeee over. He'll bring the swords and hammer, you'll be in charge of the lube, and I'll bring the shaved monkies.

@Leee, if only they were made by McFarlene. Those figures are [frick]ing sick.

@Josh, I'm glad your man enough to admit that the trailer was good.

CaptainAmerica: To be perfectly honest, I thought the trailer was fantastic! I always knew that Fassbender would be great as Magneto but was worried McAvoy would be crap as Xavier - I was proven right/wrong simultaneously! Beast also looked MUCH better than in X-Men: The Last Stand and all that Blackbird action is exactly what I always wanted to see in the past three films. Long story short, I think it'll be a great movie but a bad adaptation. (from a fanboy's point of view...me, in other words) :)

It's amazing actually, just how much better the Marvel Legends figures are...

Why do ya'll keep saying that these are crap? When I was a kid I would have DIED to have these toys!!
CaptainAmerica
CaptainAmerica - 2/13/2011, 8:12 AM
@Josh, bad adaptation? It's a horrible adaptation! Lol but it has potential of being an epic trilogy. Especially if they introduce the original line up in any of the sequels. It's a prequel so we know that Jean, Scott, and Storm were some of the "first" students, but in X-Men 1 Xavier never says they were his First Class.

@Tea, is it gonna hurt like last time? :( It still hurts when I poo! I took it too far :(

JoshWilding - 2/13/2011, 8:34 AM
CaptainAmerica: Haha, even horrible isnt strong enough a word, but the fact it could eventually lead to us seeing characters like Scott and Jean (I can't say I'm that bothered by the lack of Angel and Iceman, although it would have been great to see the original five) does have me feeling a little better about it all. I'm just trying to view this as a prequel to that despite it [frick]ing with comic book continuity. Its out of our hands, so the best we can hope for is that they make a good movie and do justice to the characters. :)

Yeah @ JOSH, I'm not even gonna bother getting a DVD, I may or may not watch that cough movie when it airs on TV!

: P

An no it don't make more sense, having Cyclops real dad in it... why put Havok in it at all if their gonna do that?

[frick]ing stupid, I'm sure their just doing it to add fuel to the fire lol.

CAP @ LOl, I got the HAMMER! ; D

What's with the swords in the Thor displays? Thor doesn't use a sword! That's more appropriate for Heimdall or Fandral.
