POLL: Which Was Your Favourite Superhero Movie Of 2011?

POLL: Which Was Your Favourite Superhero Movie Of 2011?

Captain America: The First Avenger has now hit theatres, leaving us with no more superhero movies until NEXT YEAR! Regardless, here's your chance to vote for which of the 2011 adaptations came out on top...

Feature Opinion

2011 has been a great year for superhero movies...well, mostly. We kicked the year off with The Green Hornet and followed it up with hits from Marvel in the form of THOR, X-Men: First Class and Captain America: The First Avenger. Oh, and there was Green Lantern from DC as well. The question is, which of these superhero adaptations was the best in your opinion? Who was brought to the big screen in the best possible way imaginable, and which of these can you not wait to watch all over again (if you haven't already) at home? Well, here's your chance to vote, and be sure to share your thoughts on your decision in the usual place!

Please not that other comic book movies such as Transformers: Dark of the Moon and Cowboys & Aliens have not been included in the poll as they're not "superhero" movies. Keep an eye out for that poll sometime later this year!

The Green Hornet

THOR

X-Men: First Class

Green Lantern

Captain America: The First Avenger

Only GL is missing for me, thanks to WB and their change of schedule to premiere the movie here in Costa Rica and the rest of Latin America =/ maybe it's profits strategy, but anyway I'm sure it won't beat Captain America, sir no sir. Cap's THE Hero Movie of the Year indeed. Awesome awesome awesome!!!

Cap all the way for 2011!!!

I'm honestly a little surprised Green Hornet is in last, I actually enjoyed it -- makes me wonder just how good Green Lantern is.

Not surprised by Captain America coming first, although I expected First Class to be a bit higher.

Definitely X-Men!
Thor was good but a little overrated.
Green Lantern was better then expected.
Captain America starts later here.
No interest in Green Hornet.

I love when Captain America threw his mighty shield. All those who chose to oppose his shield did in fact yield! It was a most righteous time.

@Solomon - "Green Lantern was better then expected"

u must be high or something. Green Lantern is badly edited and with a bad script that is written like a bad tv movie.

Thor and Captain America are the best CBMs of the year, the rest are garbage.

GL should not have even made the list, unless the list was for the worst CBM of 2011.

I voted THOR :) because aswell as being a fan I watched it 6 TIMES lol at the cinema and I NEVER DO THAT !!! I can watch that movie over and OVER AGAIN :p and even the soundtrack was EPIC,definiely cant wait to buy the dvd on the 17th and the soundtrack whenever that comes out.X-men 1st class was as good as thor if not better interms of storyline and acting.Captain america was also good but I got bored at one stage when watching it.I liked green hornet, thought kato was good with his fighting skills nad seth rogen was funny as usual and green lantern felt like it was made on a budget less than $300m lol cant wait for 2012 and the avengers !!!!

I had to toss a coin to choose between Captain America and Thor for best CBM of 2011. Captain America won the coin toss.

I can't believe I'm saying this.... but X-Men First Ass WAS the best CBM to come out this year. Cap was the most fun though!

VIKEME - 7/30/2011, 8:24 AM
X-Men: First Class by a landslide.

Partly due to the fact that my expectations were not as high for X-Men as they were for Captain America and Thor. Thor was fun but I was slightly disappointed with Captain America.

Green Hornet was okay (***)

Thor was good (*** 1/2)

X-Men was amazing (**** 1/2)

Green Lantern sucked ( * )

Captain America was good ( ****)

So my vote goes to X-Men
Solomon

@jazzman: It was better then expected because I nearly had two month of reading bad reviews before I saw it this week. I did expect a horrible movie, but it was okay.
It is a deeply flawed movie, but it was entertaining and it is definitely not one the worst CBMs...

jazzman - 7/30/2011, 8:37 AM
@DrFever

the poll says "Which Was Your Favourite Superhero Movie Of 2011?"

cowboys and aliens is not a superhero movie its only based on a comic but its not a superhero movie.

@Solomon

its still a very bad cbm of 2011.

CAPTAIN AMERICA IS OVERRATED!!!!!
Even more so than TDK.
That's rediculous, X-Men losing to cap, that is a prime example of "Marvelites" drouling over an all right movie.
This will be THE EXAMPLE "Nolanites" use against TDK haters!
Just another example of people not knowing what they're doing.
