Stanley Tucci is playing Abraham Erskine, the 1940s scientist who injects weakling Steve Rogers with the super-soldier serum that transforms him into the star-spangled avenger, Captain America. Here's what he had to say about that role.
"I love it when people go, 'Are you playing Captain America?' 'What do you think?' So that's what I'm doing in London," he laughed when talking to the The Toronto Sun recently.
When asked to share his feelings on the movie that will be directed by Joe Johnston and star Chris Evans and Hugo Weaving, he said:
"It's a well-written script. Really well-written."
However, he did add that unlike Samuel L. Jackson, he won't be reprising the role in any other upcoming Marvel Studios movies:
"No - I don't have anything like a nine-picture deal. But I'd like to!"
Captain America: The First Avenger will be released in 3D on July 22, 2011!
