A couple days ago, we exclusively
revealed images from the latest filming spot from the
Captain America movie set, in Hampshire, England. And while those images showed a prison in the making & a unique HYDRA tank from a distance,
James Firth, a local of the area, managed to get a closer view. In these new images, we can see the now-completed prison grounds, as well as the now-smutted armored tank. Filming took place yesterday, and Paul H, another local, shared info regarding what he saw.
"Late tonight I walked over from g/f's house (2 mins away from Ceaser's camp) and watched either a dress rehearsal or 2 fully filmed takes of tanks, troop carrying vehicles and about 50 "soldiers" storming through the metal fence. There was plenty of flames, gunfire and "bombs" going off. Each take lasted about 25 secs! Cycled through the set tonight with LEDs blazing [during] mid 'storm' scene...hope I didn't mess it up... "

UPDATE: The good folks over at
Marvel Movie News have revealed several more images from the same filming location, revealing several more HYDRA tanks & trailers. And they also include a set report from another local named James.
"Last night was so awesome! They were filming some kind of battle scene. There were hundreds of soldiers in uniform and a handful of HYDRA armoured vehicles driving around. It was so cool. We saw the car as well. It was partly covered but still looked great! We saw all the explosives and pyrotechnics being prepped. (There was a lot of pyrotechnics!)."
Filming at this location is expected to continue today. And in Joe Johnston's direction,
Captain America: The First Avenger is set for theaters July 22, next year in 3D! And much thanks to both James', Paul, and Marvel Movie News for these fantastic images.
