What Do You Think Of The New Captain America Trailer?

I got goosebumps. and I had low expectations from the director of Jurassic Park 3 and The Wolfman

I liked it. Captain America is far from my favorite character tho. But I think if after you watched the trailer and you still wanted more, the marketing has done it's job. Who wants to see the whole movie in the trailer? *cough Thor cough*

Honestly tho, I'm sure Thor has more in the movie than was shown, but they showed too much IMO.

It was good , it does it's job makes you want to see the movie I definitely can't wait to see him in modern day and a new costume ,man I can't wait for AVENGERS!!!!

I think there already is a cameo by Isiah Bradley of the Truth in the trailer. Go to the 45 pics thread and look at the fourth picture down, 3rd recruit from the right looking to get the super soldier treatment. Easter egg??

I like that they aren't revealing too much for the skull. If we never hear him speak until the actually movie I'm okay with that. I mean we wanted a pic and they gave us that and we (most of us) thought it looked awesome.

Personally, I don't want to see all the big scenes in Thor and Cap given away in trailers and ET special previews. I want to go to the theatre and be blown away by a scene that wasn't shown.

Not enough red skull?? How much LOKI was in the first THOR trailer? The exact same amount!

Same goes with Cap and his powers, in the THOR trailer you don't see it until the end of the trailer, but in CAP you can see him running fast, using his strength to punch out a window UNDER WATER, AND him tossing the shield is as BAD ASS as anything in the first THOR trailer.

I thought the trailer was really awesome, but like many said, the sneak-peaks and the ET preview pretty much ruined the IMPACT it could of had, for me at least...

I'm pretty sure the 2nd trailer will most likely be attached to Thor and will probably be much more action oriented which, IMO, will be EPIC (just like the 2nd Thor trailer)!!

For being the foilow-up to the TV spot it really blew it. Whatever doubts the Superbowl spot set in motion were only reaffirmed by the rather lackluster trailer. We really needed to see a glimpse of Caps almost superhuman agility and hand to hand combat ability to give us something to look forward to. Anyone who says the lack of any combat/agility scenes was a good idea in an attempt to appeal to a more story driven audience are only fooling themselves. People know who Captain America is and they know he's a superhero. You go to superhero movies to see the hero kicking ass. I'm worried that there may not be any bad ass hand to hand/ borderline martial arts scenes in the movie. We need to see Caps gymnast like agility...backflips and all, and I got a sneaky suspicion that good ol' Joe Johnson might have left that stuff out. Judging by the comments I've just been reading I think that once everyone got a chance to live with the trailer for a few hours reality is finally starting to set in. Thanks Joe! You've taken one of my favorite superhero's and made a crappy film with him. I think this one may even dethrone Daredevil as one of the worst, miscast CBMs of all time. But what's worse...we are now stuck with Evans as Cap for at least three more pictures. I know I'm making some harsh, premature judgments based on only one trailer but I don't care. I'm willing to put money on this one flopping big time.

It was intriguing, BUT... the scenes were too short and choppy - the overall feeling was disjointed and rushed. I understand they don't want to give away too much in the first 'official' trailer, but when you spend less that a few seconds on each scene, it only makes the viewer disoriented and nauseous!

I'm looking forward to seeing the movie but honestly,
not one thing in the trailer, from the early teasers to
its latest full length trailer has gotten me really
excited about seeing the movie. The full trailer makes
the movie look like it's going to be garbage. I'm going
to see it anyway cause i'm a hardcore CBM fan - I'll
just keep my fingers crossed & hope the trailer just
didn't give the movie the proper hype.

I'm not much for trailers, i think the last trailer I really enjoyed (besides Thor) was TDK. Love that Joker liner at the end.

Anyway, I'll be glad if the trailer left out most of the incredible parts (which I'm sure it did). However, I'm mostly excited about how they will update Cap's costume in the Avengers movie.

Predictions:
-Thor will outgross Cap
-Red Skull and Loki will steal the show from their respective heroes
-Red Skull will kick Caps' @$$ at least once
-Destroyer v Thor will be more epic than any fight scene from any movie this year
-After credits for Thor will feature the Red Skull searching for the tesseract (sp?)
-After credits for cap will feature Sammy J finding Evans frozen shield
