It looks like yesterday's photos of Samuel L. Jackson & Cobie Smulders may have been from the set of Captain Marvel after all! Several sources indicate that the movie has kicked-off production in Atlanta.

We had been led to believe that Captain Marvel was not scheduled to begin shooting until March, but now some new evidence points to Marvel Studios getting the film into production much earlier than expected.

It turns out that yesterday's shots of Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) and Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill) may not have been from the set of Avengers 4, but Captain Marvel.

Eyewitnesses point to car licence plates indicating that what is being filmed is actually set in Atlanta and not New York, and there are also reports that director Ryan Fleck has been spotted in and around the set.

Of course, this could simply be an Avengers post-credits scene that leads into Captain Marvel, which would also explain Fleck's presence. Either way, there is a lot of speculation that Brie Larson could show up on set at some point this week, so keep an eye out.

I think it might be more likely a after credits scene, but we'll see I guess.

@RasAlGhul - If it is truly from Captain Marvel, then a post credits scenes is the only way this would make sense.

Captain Marvel takes place in the 90s. How they gonna have a 2000s-2010s Toyota Camry?

cosmic entries will be off the charts starting phase 4 this should be interesting because the buzz for who's a skrull will keep everyone guessing

@knocturnalzen10 -

Maria Hill most likely. Nick Fury is too obvious and would conflict with things given he assembled the Avengers, but Maria Hill is now involved with Stark Industries, Helen Cho (the scientist from AoU) and is involved in Shield.

• If Nick Fury dies, Maria Hill is likely to take command or second in command, she can also pilot a Helicarrier and has gained the Avengers trust
• If Tony Stark dies, Maria Hill moves up to take Pepper Potts' position as CEO of Stark Industries

Skrulls infiltrate high positions of power so Maria Hill as a Skrull makes a lot of sense.

Then the question becomes why come to an article about a movie you have no interest in to post a trollish type GIF of your non-interest about the movie? I can possibly think of 47 reasons.

@DellRusk - So your saying that only certain people are allowed to come to certain articles to show support, displeasure, boredom, whatever, otherwise they're trolling. And the subtle jab at me being user47 isn't clever, unique, or funny. If that's all you have to say about it move along.

@DellRusk - I seem to recall user 47 accusing someone of being user 47 by saying they talked like them and they denied it just like user 47 did that one time. I wonder what any of this had to do with you being a troll though? I can't wait to see who gets mid labeled next because someone doesn't like a comment.
