CAPTAIN MARVEL May Have Quietly Commenced Production - Could We See Brie Larson On Set This Week?

It looks like yesterday's photos of Samuel L. Jackson & Cobie Smulders may have been from the set of Captain Marvel after all! Several sources indicate that the movie has kicked-off production in Atlanta.

We had been led to believe that Captain Marvel was not scheduled to begin shooting until March, but now some new evidence points to Marvel Studios getting the film into production much earlier than expected.

It turns out that yesterday's shots of Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) and Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill) may not have been from the set of Avengers 4, but Captain Marvel.

Eyewitnesses point to car licence plates indicating that what is being filmed is actually set in Atlanta and not New York, and there are also reports that director Ryan Fleck has been spotted in and around the set.

Of course, this could simply be an Avengers post-credits scene that leads into Captain Marvel, which would also explain Fleck's presence. Either way, there is a lot of speculation that Brie Larson could show up on set at some point this week, so keep an eye out.
