Not long ago, news following a deal made between Warner Bros and "Super Producer" Greg Berlanti, regarding an extended contract of DC, and other shows on The CW had broke out. Berlanti's production company 'Berlanti Productions' will continue to stick around at Warner Bros, helping to produce shows for the network, until the year 2027; possibly much longer should the contract be renewed for another 4 years, or longer than that.
Berlanti was the man responsible for bringing fan favorite superheroes from the pages of comic books to the television screen, in their own titular titled shows; 'Arrow', 'The Flash', 'Superman', etc.
However, new information alluding to Berlanti's potential involvement with future superheroes shows has been revealed, according to The Direct:
In its report on the recent cancellations of Titans and Doom Patrol, The Hollywood Reporter revealed Arrowverse creator Greg Berlanti is "not expected to be heavily involved" in DC superhero shows, following the beginning of his new deal with Warner Bros. Television.
Not expected to be heavily involved does not mean Berlanti will be a ghost at Warner Bros; he is still speculated to be working on current shows like the final season of 'The Flash', and possibly another season of 'Superman and Lois', soon to be released shows such as 'Gotham Knights', and announced shows that are currently in development such as an HBO Max 'Green Lantern' series, and 'Justice U'.
While Berlanti may not be as heavily involved in projects as he once was when he forged together The Arrowverse, he is still working hard to create other future shows.
