DC Comics is celebrating their Second Anniversary of their company wide relaunch dubbed The New 52 and to celebrate this time around, the DC villains are stepping into the spotlight with Villain Month starting in September. We'll be in a post Trinity War DC Universe and in the aftermath of those events longtime, traditional DC villains will be looking to capitalize in the upheaval and disquiet. Geoff Johns and artist David Finch are beginning a new seven-issue limited series titled 'Forever Evil' which is essentially a coalition of every major DC Comics villain you can think of. And spearheading that book will be Lex Luthor and

Catwoman). "Forever Evil is a chance for David and I to work on all the greatest villains in comic books," said Johns. "It's literally everybody. I don't even know if there's anybody not in it," he finished. There's more talk with Johns and Finch over at
USA Today but be forewarned, some of it is pretty spoiler heavy.
Over at
Buzzfeed, Dan Didio and Jim Lee also speak about Villain Month and highlight the fact that where Trinity War is confined between Justice League, Justice League of America and Justice League Dark, Villain Month will be a crossover event spanning across every New 52 title. That duo confirms appearances by the Joker, Metallo, Parasite however Lee admits that one villain he would have liked to see featured didn't make the cut. "I’ll say the one that i thought should have been there that we didn’t use was Hush," said Lee. But Didio addded, "But we have such big plans for Hush later, down the line, that we didn’t want to premiere it with this story. It was a little too early." Take note, Batman fans.
