Dick Grayson, the first Robin and current Batman, is in fact returning to be Nightwing in the relaunch of DC comics.
"There will be a Batman and there will be a Nightwing," said DC Comics Batman group editor Mike Marts. "And Dick Grayson will be returning to his role of Nightwing."
Along with Dick Grayson, Barabara "Babs" Gordon, currently known as Oracle is also returning as Batgirl.

Nightwing #1, a new ongoing series written by Kyle Higgins with art by Eddy Barrows, finds Dick dealing with the return of Haley's Circus to Gotham City – the same big top attraction that he once performed under with his parents. In DC's official announcement, the publisher confirms that Dick's time as the Dark Knight is still relevant. It reads, "After a tenure as the Batman of Gotham, Dick Grayson resumes his mantle as Nightwing! As Dick embraces his identity, Haley's Circus, the big top where he once performed with his family, returns to Gotham – bringing with it a history of murder, mystery and superhuman evil. Nightwing must confront friends and enemies from his past as he searches for the source of an even greater evil."

Jason Todd will also be getting a title, "Red Hood and the Outlaws"

"He's proven to be such a popular character over the last several years with our DVD and also the recent limited series," Marts said of Jason Todd. "The success of those stories helped in earning him his own new title and we're lucky to have Scott Lobdell writing that storyline and Kenneth Rocafort on art, who is a great new talent that we've brought into the DC fold. Jason Todd's group will have several different exciting characters from the DC Universe – some we've seen before and some we haven't."

Also Batgirl #1

The Outlaws seems interesting. And i'm glad he's back as nightwing. But i liked Barbara Gordon as Oracle, hope she still does that.

The Outlaws has a kickass picture.

Also isn't Starfire a good character? I don't follow DC that well but I thought she was good.

I have been really wanting a Red Hood series but I don't know is I'm happy with it being him and outlaws. I also wish the Judd Winick was writing him. I really want to know who Barbara is going to be Batgirl again. I'm pretty sure that Arsenal/Red Arrow lost his right arm. I also hope Cassandra Cain gets something.

YES! I'm so glad he's coming back as Nightwing. Didn't like Grayson as Batman too much.

But this is awesome news.

I'm usually open minded about these things... but I really don't like this suit. Will still check it out.

Why exactly is Dick using the Mavrick costume and not the Nightwing costume? dick is my favorite comic character of all time. I just hope they do him justice. But we all new this was coming when Bruce magically returned to life/current timestream. So what is to become of Damian's tenure as Robin under Dick? They just decide to throw that partnership away and Dick goes solo agian? That's bull really. And why exatly is Starfire hanging around Jason? What's to become of Cassie, Steph, and Damian? This in my opinion is just a cop out for DC to get out of actual story telling so they can tell the same old stories over and over agian. Thanks DC.
