Looking forward to this!
rbfn04 - 10/20/2011, 11:19 AM
Still with the jokes? How long can they keep making the same joke over and over again?

Oh, wait... It's Johns, nevermind...
nuck82 - 10/20/2011, 11:24 AM
till there not funny anymore?
HelaGood - 10/20/2011, 11:25 AM
yeah this is pretty laughable...
nuck82 - 10/20/2011, 11:27 AM
im not reading this comic, so can someone tell me why there lving what looks to be in a shack? and not under water
rbfn04 - 10/20/2011, 11:29 AM
@Intruder 99% of the DCnU reads like that.

@nuck82 cause it's kewl, lol...
brewtownpsych - 10/20/2011, 11:49 AM
@rbfn04 - then u haven't read many books ... swamp thing, deadman, animal man, stormwatch and all star western are all top notch books, very well written. @ least for pop books - clearly the verigos and independents are the best

gandalf550 - 10/20/2011, 11:54 AM
Looking forward to this one. Johns has done a fantastic job at really bringing Aquaman and Mera back into the spotlight. Plus it's just been great writing! :)
dahamma - 10/20/2011, 11:59 AM
@Super Argo, Agreed. Namor is the only comic character that can make water/ocean powers look awesome.
MaddMonkk - 10/20/2011, 11:59 AM
i want Aquaman to be good, I know i'm in a minority but I like him. It's just hard to write something to do with the water or oceans every month.
HelaGood - 10/20/2011, 11:59 AM
@brewtownpsych agreed, BUT you cannot compare this book with ANYTHING Vertigo...no way.
Dedpool - 10/20/2011, 12:00 PM
You know I've always said that Aquaman should basically be Namor without the Fin/Wings and ability to fly, and less of a chip on his shoulder. But otherwise he definitely should be treated with the same kind of respect. I'm liking this new take.
headlopper - 10/20/2011, 12:10 PM
@SuperArgo- Daaaayummmm! Prince Namor for FTW!
Plus Sub-Mariner's got good taste in woman.

*Moreover, never understood why a guy needs to wear big, baggy-a** gloves under water anyway.
DarthTesla - 10/20/2011, 12:11 PM
I actually think Aquaman #1 was the best of all the other new #1s I've read.

Can't wait for the next issues.
alucard365 - 10/20/2011, 12:35 PM
Aquaman sucks, Aspen is better.

rbfn04 - 10/20/2011, 12:37 PM
@brewtownpsych that's why I didn't say 100% ;)
bjvb997 - 10/20/2011, 12:40 PM
@Nomis, I too have enjoyed this series so far, but I have to say the best of the new 52 has been Batman.

@Gaston ha, exactly Green and Orange FTW!
headlopper - 10/20/2011, 12:41 PM
@Gaston- My friend, when it's Sue Storm, most men are probably willing to suffer the shame.

headlopper - 10/20/2011, 1:24 PM
^^^@Intruder- Checkmate! Well played sir.
headlopper - 10/20/2011, 1:30 PM
@alucard365- Yummy! Also, RIP Michael Turner.
HannibalKing - 10/20/2011, 1:39 PM
Can't wait to read this issue.
marvel72 - 10/20/2011, 1:43 PM
nice artwork for a pretty lame character.
Tevii - 10/20/2011, 1:54 PM
Cant wait for this. Loved the first issue.

And guess what people? I like Namor, Aspen and Aquaman.
It's not a one or the other world. You can LIKE both Marvel AND DC. Imagine that.
rbfn04 - 10/20/2011, 1:57 PM
@Evilos I don't know, I think he was a pretty good shortstop. :P
marvel72 - 10/20/2011, 2:09 PM
@ evilos32

what you saying namor is a knock off aquaman?

namor (1939)
aquaman (1941)

namor was kicking ass two years before aquaman came out (of the closet).
MatchesMalone1989 - 10/20/2011, 2:41 PM
You know whats cool. This is cool.

DudeGuy - 10/20/2011, 2:42 PM
haha everytime i come on this site its always the same marvelites writing on the DC pages. Pathetic how both DC and Marvel fanboys rip apart fictional comic book characters as if it matters so much. But its good for a laugh i guess
MatchesMalone1989 - 10/20/2011, 2:48 PM

I like both. But when you have guys tht act like Marvel Zombies. You have to shoot back. lol
rbfn04 - 10/20/2011, 2:49 PM
@intruder c'mon man, that's black lantern Shamu
marvel72 - 10/20/2011, 2:52 PM
@ MatchesMalone1989

you forgot too mention, how the cry babies at dc wouldn't take part in the marvel vs dc storyline unless superman & batman won their fights.

also you do relize that storyline isn't cannon & what with the new dc reboot probably never even took place.
dmm5 - 10/20/2011, 2:58 PM
He needs to look.... Older! The way he did in that Justice League Unlimited series. Lose the arm, grow some more hair, and age faster!
MatchesMalone1989 - 10/20/2011, 3:02 PM
Lmao @Intruder

Good one. Stan Lee is tearing up. He's so proud of guys.
MatchesMalone1989 - 10/20/2011, 3:08 PM

Goes to show how desperate Marvel Comics is for money to actually make that deal....
