Lenticular covers have made an unexpected comeback in recent months and Geoff Johns has announced today that one of the variants for Doomsday Clock #1 will be taking advantage of the unique design. As you can see below, a piece of Rorschach artwork by Watchmen co-creator Dave Gibbons has been used but updated with ink blot logos for iconic heroes Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman.

Whether or not this means Rorschach is going to be part of this event remains to be seen but we do know that Superman is going to go toe to toe with
Dr. Manhattan as the DC Rebirth mystery continues.

The first issue of the twelve part series goes on sale this November and it's going to be very interesting seeing how this plays out and where it leaves the Watchmen characters moving forward. Will we one day see Rorschach hanging out with Batman and Nite-Owl serving as a member of the Justice League?

Time will tell but feel free to share your thoughts and theories in the comments section down below.

They opened the door, so there's a chance...they could introduce other characters from that world, but this hardly confirms things...
It's just a sweet homage...

Rorschach's Journal, August 30, 2017:
I'm on a comic book cover for a new DC Rebirth event. I don't know why yet, but I'm sure it'll be great. I just need to find Daniel, Oz, and Manhattan and get all caught up.

@ArkhamClown - Also, my face for some odd reason keeps morphing into a S, a winged pair of W's, and a bat symbol.

I love this series and glad to see Watchmen getting worked in. I never even thought it possible so credit to Johns. Btw Superman will only stand toe to toe with Dr. Manhattan if Manhattan allows it. Supes, nor anyone else in the DC Universe can defeat him But it's going to be fun to watch them try :)
