MONTY PYTHON Legend John Cleese May Have Confirmed His Involvement In The DC Films Universe With This Image
What began as a Twitter theory may well have been confirmed today, as the legendary John Cleese has almost certainly teased his involvement in an upcoming DCEU movie with a new social media snap.
Back in November, some intriguing social media activity led to speculation that John Cleese (Monty Python, A Fish called Wanda, the Harry Potter movies) had signed on for a role in one of Warner Bros.' upcoming DCEU films. Though this was fairly tenuous evidence, we might just have a bit more to go on now.
Ahead of an on-stage Q&A, the actor/comedian Tweeted out the image below, and visible on the table beside him are: Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Justice League: Origin and Batman Noir: The Black Mirror.
This still isn't anything like irrefutable proof of course (he could even be trolling fans after hearing about the rumors), but unless Cleese is an avid DC Comics reader in his spare time, it's definitely a pretty good sign that he's going to be involved in an upcoming DC Films Universe project in some capacity - and the fact that all of his reading material is Bat-related, might indicate that it's Ben Affleck's standalone Batman movie.
