Greetings friends. Well I had Siege for about 2 days and I'm ready to give my review. I really loved this issue. It was full of action and shock moments. This issue picks up immediately after Siege #2 and the scale of this battle has escalated 10 fold. The New Avengers and Secret Warriors attack Norman and his crew attacking Asgard. Thor is absent in this issue except for a few panels, probably because in the next issue of Thor he is gonna be fighting Ragnarök. It's really showing how much the characters have evolved from all the events that lead to this moment. Iron man returning and defeating Norm in a quick second was awesome. The reveal with Norman blew my mind. I had no idea he could look like that. As for Bob aka the Sentry....WOW, this dude is messed up. I believe he's not gonna make it to the heroic age. I give this issue a 4/5 and the art gets a 5/5. I can't wait for #4

Next up is Dark Avengers #15. This series seems really behind everyone else but its a good way of catching up on what we missed. We finally see who's Normans Secret Weapon, and you guessed right. It was the_______(to avoid spoilers.lol) I do feel cheated tho because we have seen the______ before in a cover for a previous issue. Still I love this series and this is the second to last issue. I can't wait to see how it ends. I give the story a 4/5 and the art a 4/5, the art felt different for some reason.

I'm pretty disappointed by the reveal. I thought for sure it would be Odin and I still don't really see how this person could have intimidated Doom. Actually, I guess I can see how this person would intimidate Doom but I think it's kinda far fetched.

It was cool to see Norman finally snap.

I read both of these last night. Bullseye is such a bastard you have to love him. Looks as if Victoria Hand is finally putting some pieces together. Seige #3 was great. I loved seeing Tony suit up. The whole Seige event is doing a good job of wiping away my bad feelings I harbored towards Secret Invasion and Marvel events in general. Anyone reading Embedded? I LOVE that miniseries. Volstagg is so funny!

I'm reading Embedded also, Volstagg wasn't in #3 but he is a delight.lol. I hope Stevenson is gonna be like the Volstagg in the film.

@jusme, How could it have been odin. Even with loki's help I doubt he would comply with all this. I thought the beyonder would have been cool too but he is all powerful even more powerful than most people in the marvel universe. Anyway, at least we are getting a great story. also seeing that green face was creepy as hell.

@longbow, Victoria has really grown as a character. I think shes gonna be one of the secret Avengers. I'm sure tony is gonna hit on her.lol. BRING ON THE HEROIC AGE!!!

@anil, thats if that was doom and not a doombot when the void saw him

@Anil: I'm thinking about this one time before Secret Invasion when the Mighty Avengers were fighting Doom and the Sentry flies up to him and rips off his metal mask. Maybe that would intimidate Doom. Maybe Sentry gave Doom PTSD or something. Thing is, the more I think about it, the more it sounds like total crap. The void is not intimidating. Doom wouldn't cower at the Hulk or Rulk or the Silver Surfer and any of those guys would be a match for Sentry. Issue 3 kinda doesn't make sense to me because, seriously? Void is really all that powerful? I was really hoping for a dramatic emotion filled throw down between Odin and his sons.

Not looking forward to the Heroic Age either. Looks like the Marvel version of the Super Friends with extra cheese.

@della, chill out man. Lets wait and see how it all goes

@jusme, You can't see it as that. Comics are going back to the old days when it was all fun and action. enough dark tales and heores fighting heroes. they tried something and it was failing so they decided to bring back a time when comics were fun

@anil, I didnt say it Dark Reign Failed, I just think fans are tired of the heroes fighting amongst each ther and the villains having all the fun taking over the world.

@anil, well it seemed jumbled with OZ, he was just trying to do SO much he became easily manipulated by loki and tricked into doing all this

First of all I LOVED that Spidey was the one who punched Normans lights out and told him to "shut up". So I guess Norman is gonna transform into the Goblin from now on instead of putting on a rubber mask? Or hes permanately green-faced now? Almost like Ultimate Green Goblin..... That should piss off the "Ultimate-Haters". And I been saying all along that Thor and Sentry was the fight I was most looking forward to in SIEGE, because Thor is gonna kill him and I cant wait! The Void is a pretty lame secret weapon, but maybe hes more powerful and formidable than we know yet. And the transcript at the end of the book made it pretty obvious that the X-Men and FF are on their way.

On another note Chris Claremont came to my city the other day and I got a buncha books signed. He's a pretty chill, laid back dude and we had a pretty cool converstaion about his early run on Uncanny and Wolverine, as well as his new book X-Men Forever, and his thoughts on the direction of X-Men after he left in the 90's. One kid asked him about "Second Coming" and he snapped at him "I wouldnt know, thats not my book!" and when some one else asked him why he decided to kill Wolverine he jokingly replied "I wanted to do it before someone else did!"
