Namor deserves it! I'm with T'Challa all the way and man is the art in this badass!

Cheap words. He couldn't beat Namor on his BEST day.

Ha, I would burst out laughing if he was kicking his ass right now. Anyways, I'm curious to see how the world destroyer looks like. I'm assuming he's the alternate universe version of galactus, from black swans world.

Namor could definitely use a lesson in "humility".

I could not think of anyone better than T'Challa to teach it to him.

Wait. Namor killed how many thousands of Wakandans and is still a member of the Illuminati while Cyclops kills Xavier and goes to a federal prison. Makes sense, right?

JayOh.

Namor didn't choose to be corrupted by one of the primordial forces of the universe. Stark shot the Phoenix force with a cannon and split it into five and one fifth grabbed Namor.

Wakanda and Atlantis perpetually in a state of war makes the MU a more interesting place than Namor dead and BP still pissed off and sullen like he always is.

Maybe Namor will be found in suspended animation at the botom of the ocean.

BP vs. Namor? No chance for BP unless he has some technology up his sleeve, which he probably does.

@DukeAcureds

haha

LordHuck
LordHuck - 1/10/2013, 9:50 AM
T'Challa should never have been on the Illuminati in the 1st place. He only cares about the rest of Earth in the sense that the Earth is just the thing that Wakanda sits on. In his mind everyone outside his country is little more than a threat to Wakanda waiting to happen.

T'Challa

haha! Namor would rip your head off haha! Black Panther is an overrated prick. The last 10 years he's been written as the most arrogant prick in comics. He's way over powered most of the time and just plain sucks.

He almost got his ass killed by Sabretooth and had to be saved by Wolverine about 7 years ago.

Namor needs a lesson in humility? Have you read a Black Panther comic? He's an arrogant asshat that thinks he's better then anyone else and comes off like a prick. The BET Writer just about ruined Black Panther the last decade, I had to stop reading his comics.

Namor and Black Panther both need a lesson in humility.

Amen man! Black Panther has the cure to cancer but wouldn't even share it with the world because he's a little selfish punk. He always tells everyone their not allowed in his country but he comes over in America any chance he wants and won't leave when told. Like in Civil War when they told him to leave, he says no I don't have too but god forbid you go to his country lol.

No character in comics is more overrated, overpowered and just over done as Black Panther. People who like him the last decade or either rabid fanboys of him or haven't read his series.

Screw Black Panther.

Black Panther is the baddest black superhero character bar none.

But Tony Stark is right again. Illuminati/New Avengers is his idea and T'Challa has to agree eventually.
comicb00kguy
comicb00kguy - 1/10/2013, 10:06 AM
That first cover looks like it was drawn by an eight-year old. Interior art is much better. I hope Namor lays a beatdown on T'Challa. Nobody speaks to him like that.
MarkCassidy

Obviously hand to hand Namor would win, but I'm sure Panther has a few tricks up his sleeve.

@newmutants BP is superhuman after he became "king of the dead". He can easily take on namor. Read before you criticize, dumbass.

@Asterisk Exactly, some of the people here don't even read his work and just talk out there ass.

Temple
Temple - 1/10/2013, 10:29 AM

@RorMachine Again, BP is superhuman now, for those that don't know. If you haven't I highly recommend reading Jonathan Hickmans Fantastic four/FF run. #608 is when BP becomes superhuman.

Hope these two characters make it onto the big screen sometimes in the next couples years. What an awesome dynamic they would bring to the Avengers sequels.

Temple

He's not on Namor's level.

Black Panther isn't even as strong as Spider-Man who can't lift press 15 tons.

Namor is 100 ton class and can trade blows with the Hulk.

Black Panther is overrated and most of the time Namor is underated when it comes to battles.

He'd kill Black Panther.
Temple
Temple - 1/10/2013, 11:10 AM
@Promoman You would be surprised then. I'm assuming you didn't read Hickmans FF issue with BP becoming king of the dead? I'm also assuming you didn't read New Avengers #1 right? And heres a confirmation of BP's rise to superhuman from the man himself: http://www.formspring.me/JonathanHickman/q/412536402048208962

Yeah...good day to you.
GhostKILLERgx7
GhostKILLERgx7 - 1/10/2013, 11:12 AM
namor might have more strength than black panther, but T'Challa is a strategist, we wouldn't go jumping head first into battle. i'm sure when the time comes it will be a great match.

FYI panther out smarted mephisto one time so im sure he can do it with namor

plus wasn't he given some sort of super panther power in fantastic four? i didn't finish the issues so im not sure what happened? i know it had something to do with the spirit of the panther.

I thought Black Panther was a black version of Captain America. Super Soldier Serum vis-a-vis Wakandan Herbs. Same strength, same endurance, etc. They always say that Cap is SLIGHTLY better physically than T'Challa.... surprise, surprise, white writers... but T'Challa has a Tony Stark intellect with super-future vibranium weapons and tech.

If Cap can always give Namor a run for his money..... why can't Panther, who is just as physical, only smarter and with better weaponry.
