COMICS: [SPOILER] Will Learn SPIDER-MAN's Secret Identity In The Near Future
Peter Parker revealed his identity to the world during the events of Civil War but later put that back in the bottle by making a deal with Mephisto. Now, a major character is about to learn the truth.
Spider-Man's secret identity is complicated, to say the least. After making a deal with Mephisto to make the world forget that he unmasked during Civil War, the likes of the Green Goblin and Aunt May all stopped knowing that Peter Parker is New York's wallcrawler. Iron Man, for example, doesn't even remember that Peter and his family lived with them and the fact that they were once close friends!
However, if Spidey unmasks in front of someone, those memories will come flooding back and the likes of the New Avengers and Fantastic Four have since learned his secret identity. Well, Bleeding Cool has revealed that Marvel is planning on having J. Jonah Jameson discover Peter's secrets and it's going to be very interesting to see what that entails. Last time, he actually attempted to sue the hero!
The key difference now, though, is that Jonah is neither in charge of The Daily Bugle nor New York's mayor so he won't be able to use his power against Peter! Then again, it's possible this time that he's going to be ok with this and that their relationship will change in an unexpected way. We'll have to wait and see but there's currently no details on when and where this big reveal is going to take place.
