Does LL Cool J Have A Role In A Future MARVEL Movie?

Based solely on cryptic tweet from the actor/rapper, LL Cool J aka "Ladies Love Cool James" has teased that he either has a role in an upcoming Marvel movie, or that he has hopes of appearing in one.

Sometime last night, Screen Rant spotted a Twitter post from James Todd Smith, better known as LL Cool J, which indicated that the rapper-turned-actor may have a role in an upcoming Marvel movie. "I'm so ready for this role in Marvel movie," read the tweet which could very well mean he only hopes to be in a Marvel movie; maybe one of the many that Marvel Studios announced yesterday. Anyhow, Screen Rant speculates that if LL Cool J is in fact up for a part in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and not Fox's or Sony's ventures, then he could very well be playing Power Man aka Luke Cage. However, the character is only set to get his own Netflix series, as opposed to a movie, before joining The Defenders. Still, Daredevil will feature one of Luke Cage's ex-girlfriends from the comics, Claire Temple aka Night Nurse, played by the Rosario Dawson. Therefore, it's definitely possible that Marvel has cast LL Cool J as Luke Cage for a brief appearance on Daredevil which kicks off next summer. Of course, we can only speculate at this point, but what do you think?

UPDATE: LL Cool J has just returned to Twitter with yet another cryptic tweet: "It's a movie."  Could this indicate that he's already locked in a for a role? A role that probably isn't Luke Cage after all? Only time will tell, but who else do you think LL Cool J could portray from the Marvel lore?
