JUDGEMENT DAY Teasers Confirm Avengers. Vs. Eternals Vs. X-Men Plans And Reveal Mutants Are Deviants

We've known for a while that Marvel Comics has plans to pit the Avengers, X-Men, and Eternals against each other in a huge crossover event this year, and the first teasers for Judgement Day have now been released. We're not sure what exactly leads to the three teams squaring off, but one of the aforementioned teasers gives us a pretty good hint.

Kieron Gillen's Eternals run has driven home the fact that the Eternals are unable to escape their "programming" and have no other choice than to kill the Deviants when they lose control and take on their monstrous forms. However, it turns out this could spell trouble for the mutants inhabiting Krakoa!

As you can see, the Eternals have come to the conclusion that mutants are also Deviants, so an all-out war breaking out now seems inevitable (we're betting mutants will also be somehow tied to the Deviants in the Marvel Cinematic Universe).

Will the Avengers step in to help the X-Men? Earth's Mightiest Heroes have never had the best relationship with the Eternals, but things have been strained with the mutants ever since they decided to set up their own nation on Krakoa, so there's every chance this will be an epic three-way war.

We're expecting more details to be revealed soon. In the meantime, check out the newly released teases below:
