JUDGEMENT DAY Teasers Confirm Avengers. Vs. Eternals Vs. X-Men Plans And Reveal Mutants Are Deviants

Big changes are coming to the Marvel Universe, and an upcoming event will see the Avengers pitted against the X-Men and Eternals as mutants are revealed to be Deviants. Check out the new teasers here...

We've known for a while that Marvel Comics has plans to pit the Avengers, X-Men, and Eternals against each other in a huge crossover event this year, and the first teasers for Judgement Day have now been released. We're not sure what exactly leads to the three teams squaring off, but one of the aforementioned teasers gives us a pretty good hint.

Kieron Gillen's Eternals run has driven home the fact that the Eternals are unable to escape their "programming" and have no other choice than to kill the Deviants when they lose control and take on their monstrous forms. However, it turns out this could spell trouble for the mutants inhabiting Krakoa!

As you can see, the Eternals have come to the conclusion that mutants are also Deviants, so an all-out war breaking out now seems inevitable (we're betting mutants will also be somehow tied to the Deviants in the Marvel Cinematic Universe).

Will the Avengers step in to help the X-Men? Earth's Mightiest Heroes have never had the best relationship with the Eternals, but things have been strained with the mutants ever since they decided to set up their own nation on Krakoa, so there's every chance this will be an epic three-way war.

We're expecting more details to be revealed soon. In the meantime, check out the newly released teases below:

Does Marvel really have no faith in its villains? Every event is hero vs hero.

Sounds like this’ll go over as well as making the minority-metaphor into Mengele experiments in the Ultimate universe.

Stahp! Staaaaaaahhhhhhhhpppp!!! You know you’re void of any ideas at all when you have to keep rewriting history. Militants are mutants. Stop with the BS. I swear people keep saying comics are dead, and yet they still keep publishing them.

@Oberlin4Prez - they actually are lol. We even have comic writers saying the publishers are pushing stories with sales numbers that would've gotten a book canceled before.

Can't help but to think that this has something to do with mutants coming to MCU. Maybe they reveal that X-gene is somehow tied to eternals/deviants in the MCU and introduce mutants that way into the pre-existing universe?
