Following the hit series Silver Surfer: Rebirth, Ron Marz and Ron Lim will reunite later this year for another galaxy-spanning limited series, Warlock: Rebirth!

The two superstar comic book creators, known for shaping the cosmic corner of the Marvel Universe as we know it, are teaming up to revisit the thrilling saga of Adam Warlock. The ever-fascinating and mega-powerful superhero is set get fans talking in a big way in 2023, especially as he's going to appear in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 this May.

When it comes to this series, it will be a must-have for fans and a perfect entry point into the character’s rich history for newcomers. Set in the hero's early days, this pivotal chapter will explore Adam Warlock's origin in astounding new ways and introduce a new character that will forever impact his legacy.

Before he jetted off to space, Adam Warlock was artificially created by scientists on Earth to be the "perfect specimen." What fans will shockingly discover is that as Adam went on to wield the Infinity Gems and play key roles in epics like Infinity Gauntlet and Infinity Watch, another specimen was created - someone stronger, faster and smarter than Adam himself!

Meet Eve Warlock, the next evolution of Warlock! She’s come to strip Adam of all his power, starting with the Soul Gem, and we're sure she's someone who could return in the present day.

"Ron and I had such a great time on our Surfer series, accepting the invitation to come back and do more was a no-brainer," Marz previously said of the series. "The cosmic end of the Marvel Universe is a wonderful playground, and we’ve got some great toys, including Gamora and Pip and Doctor Strange."

"There are definitely some sequel threads to what we did in Silver Surfer: Rebirth, but we’re making sure this Warlock series stands on its own," he continues. "Who knows, maybe a shiny guy on a surfboard will show up too."

Don't miss the debut of a character who will redefine Adam Warlock's legacy when Warlock: Rebirth #1 arrives in comic book stores this April. In the meantime, you can see Eve in all her glory on the issue #2 cover below along with some all-new interior artwork.

Ooo Adam and Eve. A little surprised this hasn't happened already actually.

I really like the interior artwork. Good comic book art. Looks great.
bkmeijer1 - 1/27/2023, 6:45 AM
@TheManWithoutFear - didn't even realize that until you said it
Taonrey - 1/27/2023, 7:45 AM
@TheManWithoutFear @bkmeijer1 - it has, she even in GOTG2
bkmeijer1 - 1/27/2023, 8:06 AM
@Taonrey - wasn't she called Ayesha or something like that though?
Radders - 1/27/2023, 6:47 AM
A female version of a male hero and retconning his history in current day is pretty standard and not particularly original - question is, will her personality just be she's be better than him in every way?

Nice art though

let me guess, another gtmmick
its the "new" warlock for six months or maybe a year
WarMonkey - 1/27/2023, 7:17 AM
So Lady Warlock it is. Comic writers for the major companies are awful now. This is so predictable and has been done to just about every other male character from older movies, shows, books, etc. It's always the same, put male character in title then retcon their origin in order to introduce female counterpart and then write the story to show the she is better then him in every way and is the sole reason for why he was able to accomplish his heroic acts.

Hold up,

Eve Warlock was introduced a long time ago. She is NOT. A new character by any means.
Benjamitesandwich - 1/27/2023, 7:26 AM
@Benjamitesandwich - And just to clarify, I believe it was Aeysha who was called Eve from time to time.
Radders - 1/27/2023, 7:39 AM
@Benjamitesandwich - As I wrote my comment I thought it sounded familiar - should have gone with my gut rather than the report lol
marvel72 - 1/27/2023, 8:56 AM
@Benjamitesandwich - Yeah she was called Her and Adam Warlock was originally called Him.
Radders - 1/27/2023, 9:29 AM
@marvel72 - Ah of course I remember "Her" must be getting old lol
marvel72 - 1/27/2023, 5:02 PM
@Radders - Yup you and me both. I am glad they went for Him and Her or Adam and Eve. At least we didn't get They/Them nonsense.
ObserverIO - 1/27/2023, 7:34 AM
Um, did they forget they already did this? In the seventies!

Even comics writers don't read comics these days. smh.

She was even in the last GOTG film!
mountainman - 1/27/2023, 7:46 AM
@ObserverIO - Technically the previous character was Ayesha, but essentially the same thing as this Eve.
ObserverIO - 1/27/2023, 7:51 AM
@mountainman - She's had many names, Ayesha, Kismet, Her and I think Eve was one of them at one point.

I wonder if these writers genuinely don't know and think they're creating a new character.
RolandD - 1/29/2023, 12:11 PM
@ObserverIO - Ron Marz has been writing comics since the 80s so he is likely aware.
ObserverIO - 1/29/2023, 1:26 PM
@RolandD - lol, didn't realise it was Ron Marz. My bad.
