"She Could Get It" V01 (Scarlet Witch): A Still Salty Exclusive

Scarlet Witch is... bea! Nuff said. She has always been somewhat of a sex symbol in comics. She's practically wore a mistress/dominatrix costume for years. Looks were never an issue. Shes been displayed as your typical near perfect supermodel in every medium she's been in. But what sets her apart and probably her most attractive feature is her normality.  Wanda really stands out in the hyper feminist world of comics. Where the average heroin could kick the nuts off of any man, near perfect, makes the best decisions and always knows  when and what to say at the right time. No. If you know anything about her it's...she's flawed. From mental instability to depression to family issues of a special kind Wanda is the human,  girl next door who just happens to be one of the most powerful super heroines of all time.

Unlike the way most heroines are displayed in comics Wanda can't do EVERYTHING. She has her place though which is enough. You won't see her piloting any and every vehicle in a last minute escape or masterfully wielding any weapon while confidently taking on scores of enemies. She doesn't take the lead in dire situations or desires to do so. It's just not necessary. But this...her normality in THIS world...is what makes her so attractive. She's a real woman with real feelings who's only motivated by guilt. Rather it's House of M, accidentally killing Wakandan ambassadors or taking responsibility for the death of her brother Peitro, it's all heart all the time. Never acting pridefully or treating other with disrespect. In a nut shell she has an amazing disposition. Which is the most beautiful and rare quality for a woman real or fake. You'd be hard pressed to find a more humble heroin.

Also the fact she dated and even married the Vision always impressed me. Vis is all heart. So pure he was able lift Mjolnir on occasion. Wanda appreciates those qualities overlooking the fact he's not even human. She can see what's on the inside and that's all that matters.
