Every year, thousands of people go to the movies to watch their favorite superheroes fight crime in the big screen. As the months go by, each superhero films gets more successful and more successful. Superhero movies are a phenomenon and no one can deny that. Unfortunately, there are those who only view it as a 'fad' and predict the Superhero film industry to run out of business. Don't worry, that is far from the truth!
Babies are very cute and adorable. If you ever see a baby, chances are that he/she is wearing a Superman shirt with Spider-Man diapers or he/she has a Batman bib on. It is very common for babies to be grounded on the superhero genre since day one because the comic book world requires a lot of imagination and creative thinking, which is a great way for babies to grow and mature. Once the babies are kids, you could expect them to have a gigantic Justice League poster in their bedroom that consists of nothing but Superhero merchandise, from video games to underwear, all over the place. Being a kid is the most fun time a person can ever experience and men/women in tights protecting their city and doing good represents that child-like wonder the best. The transition between late childhood and early adulthood can be intimidating, but most of us stay grounded and focused by using what we learned from superheroes and continuing to be fans as our hobbies/fan interest become to be clearer and we accept it as a way of life. When we are officially grown men /women, the world becomes a whole lot scarier/darker/weirder/annoying/etc. That's why we develop fan interest/hobbies that stick to us as a characteristic. What better way to escape reality for a while than by reading about the frictional world of people who have extraordinary abilities and use them for the greater good in the battle of good and evil. Taking a page out of the WWE, Superheroes are the quintessence of THEN.NOW.FOREVER.
Movies can be tricky. People tend to get tired of Romantic Movies if the only thing going on is some gooey dooey bubbly lovey bull shrimp. Once a comedy has a few missed gags in a row that fell flat, the overall movie seems to struggle. The same can be said for action/drama/science/ and every other movie genre there it is. The only film industry that doesn't suffer from this fatigue is Superhero movies because they combine all the best elements of the genres and roll them into one movie about a caped crusader. The Dark Knight had moments that lead to chuckling such as Alfred and the models in the boat, but if you were not a fan of the jokes you could still enjoy the cool action scenes like the detective mode fighting scene. Some people want a purpose for the action, there was drama involved with the city in a fight within itself and a love triangle that turned deadly. All in all there was a story that made us think about the world around us and taught a theme of anarchy and chaos. The Dark Knight is the quintessence of how a superhero movie takes all these great elements of a film and mixes them into one spectacular experience.
The young man who met the girl of his dreams finally gets a chance to embrace her as his life. He doesn't take her to a rap concert with cringe worthy nonsense or a rollercoaster which would lead to headaches. The young man and young women started their future by watching a movie about 4 people struggling with their superpowers becoming a team and embracing it. When kids are in need of some friendly help or have been dealing with bullies, they ask if they could meet Spider-Man. We always hear about sick children getting to have their own Batman days or receiving an Iron Man suit and those moments represent what is good in our world. Superheroes create a lasting experience that make the world a better place for all involved. When Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice calms out, we are going to have families pick sides and dress up as their favorite. Dads and their brothers reuniting to settle a childhood discussion. Oh the fun that's going to be had!
Everybody connects to the superhero world because they bring the best of us. The superhero films industry brings the best of films and rolls it into a cinematic journey of epic proportions. Those films help us get through the day and brings forth memories that will serve a lifetime. How does that translate into "perishing from the entertainment industry" , I have no idea. What i do know is that the Superhero World/ superhero film industry makes a huge impact on the society we live in and it is here to stay FOREVER! Thank you for reading- WimpyKid4Life
